Lighting the Path Less Taken

Today I had one of my clients ask for help with her goldfish. Now don't laugh, even a goldfish pet is beloved and when unwell worrisome.
She said, "I'm just learning Reiki so i'm only level 1 with not alot of powers yet.".

Oh dear again...I replied:

"Who was your master that did the attunement? Just curious...
Go to my website and read the Reiki page. My Level one manual is there for all to see. Reiki IS, it grows as we use it even if you stay at level one your whole life..to use it always in all ways makes you an instrument of the light and energy that is Reiki. There is no better than or stronger than! Reiki IS. I am Reiki Reiki is me....the same can be said for you if you have faith in it and in you as a positive wonderful channel for the energy. IT grows stronger as your belief and intent does.....attunements only facilitate the ability and give direction, it does not give you more or better power.

I smile..once I had a young lady come into the shop and she said "I want a master attunement. I need it"
I asked her why and she said (quite loudly) "cuz it'l fix my f----ing life!" I smiled and said "no it wouldn't, she has to fix her f---ing life in order for Reiki to be part of it and when she embraced the Reiki as breathing then maybe she would be ready"...

So use your natural good heart and hands.. By placing your hands near her or even having the thought to help her, the Reiki turns on and flows as needed. If I can help explain more feel free to ask. Know I am still sending for Callie."

NOW...this is interesting....are there others of you who feel inferior because you are "just" Level One or Level Two?

Goodness me, to become Reiki is to become! the Level means naught! the intent and love and light is all...so what do you think?

I am now and been a long while (I smile) Reiki and a master level currently. Is my Reiki better? hahaha nope! BUT I Reiki each day..myself, others, all things..like with all things one loves...practice makes perfect, good intent builds.

Level One is POWER! you can touch anything and anyone and heal and help..how can that be less?
Level Two is learning how to send distance..
A Masters level is being able to attune others, to guide and teach...my dream, my goal and now my life.

Is Reiki just anything...there is no just in Reiki...Reiki is light, power, help, healing, soothing, hope, faith, intent, protection, life. Reiki is breath....use it to live.

I used to think a reiki 2 or/and 3/master was more powerful than a reiki 1.
Now I know better.
I wanted 2 so I could send distance.
Now I know a 1 can do so just as well.
I wanted 3 so I can attune anyone who wants to be attuned (if they are ready) cos I want everyone to be able to heal.

I now tell all that a reiki 1 attunement is the only reiki you need.
It is using it, playing with it and healing yourself with it that makes it stronger.
And as you say Sage, your belief and intent too.

This is beautiful......and thanks for the reminder.....I have only been called to level II because I am not interested in teaching and guiding at this point.....level I helped me transform myself and heal my wounds.....level II helps me help those who need me......I see it as reiki is a part of me it just is and its always there when I or someone else needs it. I actually do not control it at all truth be told if someone needs it....my hands simply vibrate and it it goes where it is needed.....not sure who was in need a week or so ago but every time I got online on my forums my hands were on...it was a hot hands day q21

and I miss my goldfish I find them very relaxing companions...

There is no power in having Reiki
Reiki is a training aid
It enables you use what you already have
It awakens and teaches you to use yourself
And the power that all humans have within them
It gives you a code to live by
And a structure to heal with

A Mother does not need training to heal a bruse or cut
She just holds the injured part until we felt better
The training of Reiki helps us understand healing
And gives us a wider use for what we have naturally

I had a woman come to the shop last week curious about Reiki. When I begin to speak I always stumble but then the Reiki takes hold and my words flow..my final words to her was that all people can be Reiki and can heal, it lays within us from birth and attuning awakens that sleeping child within us so we may once again heal naturally, as well as awakening our bodies ability to heal itself and others as well.

Your example of the mother and child is a classic perfect example of my meaning.
