Thought I'd share this.......
I cut and pasted this from a My Space friend's Blog. I also included my comment and his response.........
At what age does your Chakra system start to work
When we come into this world we are born with the Chakra system, but not many know that when we are born not all the Chakra are open and are in fact switched off. Here is a list of development ages of your Chakra system.
* Root or Muladhara: 0 – 8 years
* Sacral or Svadhisthana: 8 – 14 years
* Solar Plexus or Manipura: 14 – 21 years
* Heart or Anahata: 21 – 28 years
* Throat or Vishuddha 28 – 35 years
* Third Eye or Ajna: born with this open
* Crown or Sahasrara: born with this open
Even though the Chakra are not open does not mean they do not pick up problems. They are working just not open.

I asked the person who posted this:
This is interesting..........How do people know this??? I would think this would be important to know for doing healing work on children, ie. Reiki.
Chris, Spiritualist Medium Healer Teacher replied:
Maryann
this was known by Hindu healers 1000's of years ago...
(Chris is a My Space Friend from the UK......who also happens to be Gypsy.)

Thank you BooBoo
I do find this very interesting
To be fair
A lot of adults have closed Chakra's anyway
Some as a means of personal protection
Others out of long term attack and defend systems
If we were all the same
It would be a strange old world
