I don't think I need any help with interpretation of this one, but just wanted to share with people who understand.
Last night, I dreamed I was riding bareback a wonderful appaloosa gelding that owned me about 28 years ago. I have never dreamed of him until now. But I was the one who broke him before he was sold. I only saw him once since then & it was shortly afterwards.
But, last nite, we rode & rode. He was bareback & without bridle. He responded to my light touches on his neck. And he knew where I wanted to go anyway.
We rode on country trails & down city streets. We rode past other horses & people. We were searching for my own little town, which I actually live in. We never found it, but we had a marvelous time looking. It was great!
Perhaps, after all this time, he has passed & came to me. I didn't realize how old he would be now until I thot about it when I woke up. I haven't thot of him in years. He would be 28 now. In my dream, he was gorgeous (as he really was) with tons of spots & shine. He was a huge, strong & 100% appy. He was my dream horse then, and I guess, even still. Good boy -- that Sundance.
Thanks for letting me share. Happy trails! -- TT

I'd say trust your instinct and he came as he crossed, to you who began with him and that suits that he should end with you as well. Oh how it must have felt to have him beneath you running....

The ride was so free and flowing. I hugged him from again and again by leaning down & putting my arms around his neck. He was the appy that got me hooked on the breed, which I carry a love for to this day. And when I could breed horses big time -- it was appaloosa. What a legacy he gave me, just by being himself. This morning, I miss him and I love him still and was glad of the contact.
