Today, I felt myself falling
in the whirlpool of your eyes.
There was no one there to help me--
no present time,
only eternities of space.
But you have never laughed at me
for getting lost or afraid.
You just let me be,
and smiled,
and my Spirit grew until...
I believed I could touch your face,
and I wouldn't be afraid
to be me,
ever again.

This experience is ultimately personal for each human being,
we cannot explain how it affects our lives.
If the loss of fear and the ability to stand tall have happened to you...
you know it from the core of your being.
If it has not happened to you "yet",
the joy awaiting you will change how you live....
forever.

Continual Creation of Self

Human desire is the active
ingredient that continues to
create the Self, unless thwarted
by lack of imagination.

Remember
not to tangle your creativity
with limiting lies
that alter our potential for living.

Trusted Friend

You touched my heart
and it sang...
of a song long forgotten.

You spoke to me of dreams,
and I allowed you to know
a part of me that was painfully shy.

You opened a window to my soul,
allowing me to be myself,
and the wind came to cleanse
my fear of intimacy
with the fragrance of cedar.

Your walking stick left tracks across
the trails I follow in my dreams,
And now...
I am reaching beyond that memory,
into the distant future,

Wondering when
the leaves will change,
and you will return.

Our actions tell a story
To observers who view
The honesty and intentions
Found in everything we do.

The basis of any reputation
Will sound its own alarms
Measured by expected behavior
Through honor, or through harm.

Every life tells its story
Every human draws the lines,
The boundaries of personal honor
Are ours to live and redefine.

Jealousy, hatred, and poverty
Can prey upon human souls
Tarnishing the spirit's intent
To reach an honorable goal.

But finding the path to healing
And seeing self-worth inside
Can change a bad reputation
To one of honor and pride.

If your past still haunts you
It's time to give it away
Live the best of your potential
By leading through example today.

Omens

Omens signal that Great Mystery
Is offering us a clue
If we pay attention
We may count our victory coup.

If we ignore the feelings
Knowing that comes from within,
Failing to follow wisdom
We've denied the feminine.

There's a deep magic within us
That comes from an open heart,
Sister Raven comes flying
To show us intuitions art.

If we grasp the message
And if we make it our own,
The doors of mystery fly open
To welcome each seeker home.

Joy Reclaimed in Retreat

Having lost life's sparkle
I walked
To the moon lodge-- alone,
There to find some serenity
I could call up when the need arose.

I witnessed a miracle of reclamation
As I counted my blessings once more...
my joy returned
overflowing...
as through the silence
I bore witness
to the miracles I had forgotten in my haste:

Tonight the moon burst!
Yesterday, I taught a child to smile.
This morning,
I found a rainbow on my doorstep,
Tomorrow..
I want to share my joy with you.

Continual Creation of Self

Human desire is the active ingredient
That continues to create the Self

Looks Far Woman

Mother, teach me how to see
The shining light of stars,
the faces of the Ancestors,
In worlds both near and far.

Show me how to welcome
The visions appearing to me,
Seeing the truth in detail,
Unraveling each mystery.

Walk me through the Dreamtime
Of altered time and space,
That I may share these visions
With every creed and race.

Doorkeeper of all dimensions
I seek your Medicine Ways
Of how to earth my visions.
Seeing truth inside me today.

Blue Moon

Life is all about growing
Of coming to many ends,
Only to find the door open
And beginning once again.

On the trail of becoming
Our visions light our way
Til dreaming and creating
Take form within the clay.

Molding every essence of
Our hopes, dreams, and fears,
Urging us ever onward through
The laughter and the tears.

The beauty of our human-ness
May be a secret and yet...
It is our deepest longing
To live without regret.

The fear of our failures
Can blind our inner sight
But the Blue Moon of becoming
Still shines...
reflecting
our vision's light.

Iridescent Reality

The pristine edges of reflection
That border the intuitive mind
Refract the prisms and concepts
Multiple mirrors of humankind.

Somewhere in the house of mirrors,
The mystery begins to unfold
The blending of every nuance
Bringing the Oneness to behold.

Iridescent reality blends
Every shining moment in time
Every awakening revelation
That makes humanity's climb.

Spiraling onward-
Beyond the place
We have named "The Void of the Unknown".

In spit of our fears
Is the Good Medicine we've learned to own.

The Protectress of the meek
Weighs the truth for all to see
Divine Law, seeking balance
Setting the spirit free.

And here amid the chaos
Of earthly trial she stands
Ready to issue justice
Compassion in her hands.

She answers when deception
Shows the destructive face
Of human greed and hatred
Dividing every creed and race.

Keeper of Great Mystery's laws
Whose guiding ways we seek
May we accept the Oneness of
The truths we hear you speak.

Healing Prayer

Mother, teach me how to heal
The feelings inside of me
Teach me how to respect all of life
With burgeoning humility.

Show me the path away fro abuse
Where everything sings of life
Where heartache is just a memory
Of ancient, human strife.

Let my spirit be healed
Until dying holds no fear
Where rebirth is welcomed
Bringing me joyous tears.

These are the things I desire
For I want to truly know
The pathways and healing passage
Through the dark night of the soul.
