Wow factorhave just attuned my 28th Reiki student, the first on the Isle of Wight.
Although in Essex, I never had any problems with the energy needed for either Healing, teaching or Attunements -but the energy on this Island has the real WOW factor - I've never known anythink like it- its just soooooooooooooo powerful
I've worked with 4 Masters on Reiki Share before on the mainland and we all had Out of Body experiences when we worked together - but the energy present when I attuned my Reiki I was unbelievable - I had the presence of Buddha throughout the 2 days and my student actually received the coloured bubbles that Usui did (twice!!) The energy was so brilliant that the teaching time was somehow (!) almost cut by half - despite the fact I gave her far more info than any othe REiKI I that I have taught.
Have several other students lined up and just can't wait to see what happens next

Wow Gillie, how wonderful! Last nite did seem to be magical. Congratulations! I think Reiki has taken on a life of it's own...I am finding myself almost consumed with my Path to knowing more, learning more and doing more. Your Isle is pure magic. Wish you and a few others were a bit closer than across the pond!

Hi Debs, have you thought about coming over to the Island for your Masters? From what I hear, it costs a fortune to do Masters in the States - you could afford to come to UK, pop over to see little old meto do your Masters, finish your holiday, and still have plenty of change

Oh how lovely that would be! Alas I do not fly...in an airplane that is...huge fear for me. But I thank you for your generous offer...if I were rendered unconscience (sp) it would be great!

Thats a real shame. Have you ever tried it? When I met Bob, 22 years ago, I told him he'd never get me in a plane - 4 weeks later we flew to paris and I've never looked back.
I actually flew in a Tiger Moth last year, Biggles outfit as well - wow - that was so special. No cover, you just have to keep your head behind the cockpit window - loved every minute of it.
Can't fly now, however, because of my spinal problems - but have certainly given it a good go over the years. As we say - been there, seen it, got the tee-shirt

Yup, flew once in a BIG plane with my infant daughter from South Carolina to NY over 20 yrs ago....I hated it...that said I have flown in the little single engine planes when I was in my early 20s and loved it. Control thing maybe? All I know is I can't deal with how it feels?
