Y'all know I am in transition. Life is very quiet for me and I hear many things and see more. Each morning and nite now for 7 days a woodpecker has greeted me as I come out to do the ponies. He is on the same hickory tree each time and chips along speaking and watching me. I have a stump I can sit on not 6 feet from said tree. He sits and hops and talks (and eats of course) and I greet him as "Little Brother" and ask him what I should hear.....I get pictures of being steadfast on the trail I walk and to keep "pecking away for that which I seek".... This morning he came within arms length to me...such a gift..the colors of red so deep and the white pure and unblemished and the black deep as nite. I love him. Anyone know the deep signifigance? I just take them as they come and listen....

According to the book "Animal Speak".........the woodpecker's drumming can mean he's drumming "rhythm" into your life. A woodpecker will show up "just to stimulate new rhythm and changes".

"When a woodpecker comes into your life, it indicates that the foundation is there. It is now safe to follow your own rhythms."

And THEN! yesterday whilst driving home from town there is huge turtle in the center of the road! Being me I parked the truck and got out me gloves. At least 15" across he was and enjoying the warm road on his belly. I told him this was a dangerous thing to do but he was waiting he said. He'd get there he said, with a bit of help he said. I laughed and got round the rear of him (snapping turtle he was) and lifted him up and way off to the cow pasture safe. I assume he was headed for the nice pond over the way.

Today whilst preparing to be away til Wednesday I was thinking wondering how many folks have been locked up for thinking and acting such as I....talking to myself and the guides (voices) and listening to the animals.....deary me a rubber room would've been for me or a witches burning! I'll see you the 21st hopefully with more things strange.

I do love what I do and who I am and becoming..dog the those who sputter and say crazy!

My friend, I love the freedom you have to do just what you want with your journey. The time is obviously right.

My own journey is different. It cannot be my priority right now because of family, so instead it's a quiet one.

I also find myself stopping and "talking" to the birds, the horses, and other animals. Unfortunately Larry gets annoyed when I pause during the farm chores. He's so intense and focused sometimes, that he doesn't SEE. He doesn't HEAR........We are so totally opposite.

Do you feel the turtle is a message for you, like the woodpecker??? I do.
