What do you get from this picture?Driving around north was so lovely. We drove along the coast and found these old old buildings. This red one kept grabbing me especially the top window in the bowed part. I know what "I" felt I saw, if that makes any sense. Helpful hints: military historical building, unused currently but being restored.
Then another day we went to Fort Ticonderoga and I fell in love with this window. Look closely and you'll see a man in uniform (redcoat).

Agree agree agree....My skin crawled and I almost flew out of my chair.....ok going to try and get above it to look again at the lovely red building :smt002

Before I even read your description of the red building I felt it was a school at one time.

What I get from these pix are chills........amazing......and I do see what you see, except no one has mentioned that the bottle windows are eyes. The red building, I think, has something to do with detention of some sort? Perhaps a military school or something along those lines? Something strict.

Oh my, u saw what I did..the eyes of the window...like eyes to the past. The buildings there were so very full of "things", I had all I could do keep the sheilds up. It was facinating but I only took pics of those that screamed pic me. BTW the red building was a barracks at one time.

You know, the eye thing popped to me too, but I dismissed it- it's natural inclination for the human mind to find patterns (esp.faces) in things... still it reminded me of being LOOKED at.
Military school? I was thinking school... strict, though, like a private school.
I had a feeling of sorrow and watchfulness from the bowed part...

Well I guess I'm a bit weird because I like it. The bottle glass windows make me wish I could touch them. I especially like the witches hat roof on the part of the building that projects out. We had a Victorian era house with several peaks on the roof like that down the street from where I grew up. Mom always knew where to find me because I was so drawn to the place.

The building is now vacant and is undergoing some improvement, they did not tell me what their palns were for it. It was a barracks back in the war. Initially it was a grand home he said.
I had to touch them also and when I walked away I had to take the pic.
