Ursa again!

Sorry to post so much about Ursa, but she continues to blow my mind. Yesterday, whilst sitting at the computer doing DMV stuff, I said "Oh no. Now we have to go over to the barn and look at the truck to see what the milage is for this dumb registration." So, I asked Ursa if she wanted to go with me. I put my shoes & socks on, adjusted her collar, looked for a pen & paper to write it down on. About 5 minutes had gone by.

We got over there & son-of-a-gun, she went DIRECTLY to the truck, stood beside the driver's door, wagged her tail & smiled.. We NEVER go to the truck. We never talk about the truck. We haven't been in the truck since February. It's just a piece of furniture over there. But, there she was, waiting to go in the truck. I let her sit in there while I took 1 second to write down the figure.

I said HOW do you KNOW?? Her response wasn't expected either (it never is) She "said" "why wouldn't I?" and smiled again. Silly me. I thot she was special, but apparently, she doesn't.

I'm just amazed by her, almost daily. I'm sure you've all written me off as stark raving mad.......but this is all true. If I can find a picture I took a few years ago of Ursa smiling, I'll post it later. Thanks for letting me share this stuff. -- TT

Well, you know, Ursa and I would just hate that!!! You know how Ursa hates company!! ANd me too!!!! Lots of room. I know you're just kidding but I'd love it. q57

Ok --- Whenever we have company, Ursa is no longer mine. She belongs to whoever is there. When Sage was there, Ursa abandoned me, almost completely. Ursa sleeps in the guest room with whoever is in there.

Otherwise, she always sleeps in my bed, but when there's company, she'll perhaps check on me at night, but she goes right back to the guest. When Sage was here, we had about 50 guests overall, but about 15 slept over (inside and in tents outside). Ursa was beside herself the whole time. She didn't know where her allegiance, attention or affection belonged. And she thot everybody came to see HER!

Heck, she thinks when the pizza comes, it's for her! But she'll willingly share whatever she owns that day.....whether it's people or pizza.

With my Dear Prudence, that I lived with before Ursa, people actually DID come to see her, not me! When Pru was passing, friends came from as much as 2 hours away to lay on the floor with her & say goodbye. That's how dear she was.

Now, if Miss Ursa continues in her ways, she'll be just as blessed. If she'd just stop licking you to pieces, that is! And you know, she'd go home with you too. And that means everybody who visits. She loves me, but with the caveat that I know she loves everybody else too.
