It can heighten intuition, restore life’s sweetness, if lost, and help you nurture yourself. It clears all the chakras and fills you with light and energy, to allow your real self to shine through. Sunstone has a powerful connection to the sun and with it's regenerative power helps with grounding and centering for your every day life. Those days when negative energy is bringing you down, like a hitchhiker of bad vibes draining your energy, hold tight to a sunstone to cleanse and fill yourself with light and purity again. If you’re a person who has hard time saying “no” and makes constant sacrifices, hold your sunstone it will fill you with power, self esteem, independence and vitality. Sunstone can be a very effective anti-depressant lifting dark moods, and is especially helpful with seasonal affective disorders. Even the most grouchy and negative person cannot resist the sunstone! It switches them from negative to positive as they hold it or wear it. "Physically" sunstone stimulates your “self-healing” powers, it regulates your nervous system, organs, treats chronic sore throats, relieves stomach ulcer pain, cartilage problems (carpal tunnel, arthritis) and eases aches and pains.
Sunstone and Moonstone together are often used in Solstice rituals.
