Stone of the Week: Serpentine/Infinity StoneSERPENTINE (asst shades of yellow/green), sometimes called "New Jade or Infinity Stone" is formed when olivine or peridot, break down and form metamorphosed basalts. (Under no circumstances should you ever use this stone as an elixir.) Sometimes it will have a glossy or waxy look to it, I suggest using this for the 4th or heart chakra as it is good for enhancing the meditative state. Serpentine can give assistance to problems in all areas of the person, emotional, mental, as well as the physical. It stimulates the crown and can clear all other chakras when clouded, and is good to use for enhancing meditation. The energy of serpentine can help with illness or injury within the whole body. Serpentine gets its name from the word 'serpent' because it resembles the skin of a snake. It has been used since ancient times to guard against disease and sorcery. It does come in many colors.. Nursing women used it to regulate their milk supply, it helps with mood swings, and can encourage your natural abilities to solve conflict peacefully. "Physically" it protects from biting/venomous insects, snakes etc. It helps kidney and stomach complaints, relaxes cramps and menstrual pain. Intuitive sources say Serpentine emits a profound healing vibration and facilitates the energetic activation of cellular regeneration.
