Stone of the Week: RhodochrositeRHODOCHROSITE (berry colored w/ creamy swirls and bands) represents selfless love and compassion and is an excellent stone for the heart and relationships as it teaches the heart and mind to absorb and understand feelings without shutting down. It gently brings repressed feelings to the surface, improves self esteem and soothes stress. Rhodocrosite encourages spontaneous expression of those feelings as it lifts depressed moods and brings lightness to life. “Physically” it acts a filter to keep out irritants, relieves asthma and respiratory problems, improves the circulatory system, kidneys, normalizes blood pressure and stabilizes the heartbeat, as it dilates the blood vessels it relieves (migraine) headaches. By placing it on the site of pain it eases body pain and cramping, with some it can also restore poor eyesight.
