Stone of the Week: MoonstoneThe voices  told me this week it should be moonstone...so many are in turmoil this moon phase and with our full wishing moon manifesting towards the 9th...I agreed it was a fine idea.
Moonstone, or to put a finer point to it "Rainbow Moonstone is my favorite". I wear the large earrings and pendant alot this month I noted. They make me feel centered, grounded, and able to handle the discord in the energies. But that's me. 
MOONSTONE (milky/translucent, can be in soft color..green,pink,melon, as well as white or beige) is another stone of “new beginnings”. As the name suggests, it is closely associated with the moon and intuition. Like the moon, the stone is reflective and reminds us that, as the moon waxes and wanes, so is everything is part of a cycle of life and change.
It’s most powerful effect is that of calming the emotions, promoting intuition, empathy, vivid dreaming, and can enhance psychic abilities. It helps balance the male and female energies that are inside all of us, soothes emotional insecurity and stress.
“Physically”, it provides deep healing to the disorders so often caused in the upper digestive tract that can be caused by a lot of stress. Often called “the woman’s stone”, it is excellent for PMS, conception issues, pregnancy, childbirth, and breast feeding.
Moonstone can be used to prevent sleep walking and help with sleep disorders like insomnia, night terrors or bad dreams. Moonstone helps eliminate toxins and fluid retention and heals degenerative conditions of the skin, hair, eyes, and fleshy organs ie. the liver and pancreas.
Rainbow Moonstone
Rainbow moonstone has a gentle, calming energy. It helps to strengthen intuition and psychic perception, and enhances creativity, compassion, endurance and inner confidence. It is a stone that brings balance and harmony. The Rainbow effect brings in a spectrum of light, and can help with clearing and bringing in uplifting energies. It has been said to have the power to grant wishes.

I have always loved Moonstones..........since I was a little girl......
I have NEVER EVER seen a "Rainbow" Moonstone. Thank you for sharing that.
