Rolling inside timeAt my cookout the other night, I was taking something into the kitchen & two friends were following me, each carrying something too. One asked "where do you want to put this?"
I went to answer her & found myself "rolling" in a deja vu type second. I could actually "feel" the time "roll" into itself & I knew at that nano-second I had experienced or dreamed this before. All I can say to describe it, is the it seemed like I was suddenly on a roll of narrow rug that was slipping forward into itself & myself along with it. That probably doesn't make any sense, but it's very very hard, if not impossible, to describe. I couldn't stop going forward with the rug into the "wave" of time.
I almost felt for a second like I was fainting, but then I recognized the whole scene as I heard myself saying "Oh, right over there," and realized that's what I had said the FIRST time I lived this.
Deja vu has come many many many times in my life. It is most heavy when major changes are happening in my life. Well, the move, you know. It was so very strong that I almost felt exposed. These are very good friends & wouldn't think anything was crazy if I told them what I was experiencing, but this was so intense that I was set aback.
I experience little deja vu's out of nowhere and they can be as simple as pulling on a sock or turning my head. But "we have all been here before" comes on so strong sometimes. Maybe it was a fitting experience inside an evening of gratitude, thankfulness, happiness, music and overall good vibes. - tt

I HAVE????????????? Now there's a shock! I'm also so surprised that others have done this. You know, when something is brand new to you, it makes you wonder if others have done this too. Thanks, ladies!

That's it! I've experienced that before, only my episodes are much more specific. For example, I won't know it until the events start, but once they do, its like I'm both watching myself and acting at the same time, and I can feel time move. The thing is, when this happens, I know what will happen next, what I'll say, where I'll go. I also have the power to change it, and when I do the feeling immediately stops. Its so weird...the strange part is, once it happens, I'll remember that I dreamed it, and know exactly when I did, down to what I was wearing as PJs that night. I don't remember the dreams right after I dream them, however. Gosh, I wondered if I was the only person who experienced this ramped-up deja vu. It is so cool to hear that other people know the feeling!

Its a bit like walking through Deja Vu
This is something that I run a mile from
I have run them through to the end
However, I was always so up tight
That the experience was very negative
And usually ended with an argument
With the person that I was interacting with

It happens to me so often that I almost do not notice anymore. What is really an odd sensation is when it happens while dreaming......that one gives me the spins.....lol....
Its the feeling of doing something again and knowing what the outcome will be that is sometimes disconcerting, and causes that rolling sensation........
I've had other similar type experiences with people or places where there is no way I've a connection in this life but I know for certain I know the place/person...and the world will spin as I realize it.....

Yes, my life is so often "weird" that I just about take things for granted when they happen. So often, someone will say, I was just thinking about that! But to me, that's normal. Or someone rings the phone & I know who it is long before I answer or look at caller ID. Sometimes, it's almost as if I control things, but I know better. It's not me. It's the cosmos.
But the kitchen incident discussed above, was so disconcerting that I didn't mention it at all when it happened. So often, my friends would say "that's amazing," but to me, it's just life. There's always another door to open that will surprise me, tho. - tt
