Reiki Share?or Reiju for that matter.
Once upon a time way back I wondered if using "Skype" or an "IM messenger" could be a way for those unable to be "there" in person to participate in a Reiki Share.
I still think this could be a possibility. Anyone up for giving it a try sometime? I know with time differences and all it will be "challenging" but it could be a treat.
I'd like to discuss the Reiju a bit more also, it is such a wonderful energizer and empowerment and one need not be Reiki to ask for it to fill you up. It is a pure energy and one can ask for it at any time not just when it is sent, thus it's pure beauty.
Perhaps our Cats can tell us her feelings on it, she has come to be able to pick up easily and it is very wonderful...I fear I am not explaining it best but will say more once I get to the shop later.

I cannot figure out how to send reiju distantly.
Steve tried to explain a coupla years ago, but I didn't understand.
I know I can do it, but need to understand the 'hows' before I can do so.
I was the same with distant reiki, but when I 'gottit' it was ok.
I have to say, I wasn't taught reiju by my RM, I found out about it through reading books.

I love the Reiju. For the sending of it, for me, it becomes almost dance like. With no person it is your hands moving beautifully...first to bow and be grateful...say the Reiki Principles ( I do it in Japanese now).
Open your arms to Spirit and gather the energy and Gassho....then move thru the movements slowly as tho you touch another. I add the throat and the heart...my hands stay connected always but move effortlessly to each position until they must part and gather from Mother Earth and open to Spirit and the sky.
I send it with intent for Earth and all in need who wish it each night. Not sure if it helps but I hope so. To collect the Reiju one only has to ask and wish to recieve it either with words or intent. Words like I will receive the Reiju now..you can add a name if you know who is sending.
Each Reiju does have a flavor of it's own from the sender. Spirithealer speaks true when he says "expect nothing, but accept everything". It is different for each and feels for each. It is an energy, a shower of light and good that can fill you and help always.

That word "intent" is everything. When I explain Reiki or Reiju, it is the word INTENT that is paramount. When I send, I imagine the energy in all it's golden red fire goodness flowing in waves from my fingertips to the "out there" for whomever needs/wants or to the one I "intend".

Is that all there is to sending Reiju - or are there other parts to the act?
As for Reiki share from a distance - I'll have a go - I use a large cuddly bunny for sending distant healing. My guides are suggesting if everyone used the equivalent (or those that dont go in for fluffy bunnies - use their own body), decide who is at the head, who at the feet, and who inbetween(as in a normal share), then we could all do healing at the same time (if that makes sense) I'm not sure it would be the same if we did it at different times.
I think it would work best if we could a) first do it all at the same time - (whose good at working out time differences?  ) and then b) have a go at each person doing Reiki at say 8.00pm regardless of time zones. and see whether it works and whether there is a difference in the 2 techniques.

Well it is not a complex ritual but one with certain steps.
Stephen could show you next time you do share perhaps, in the mean time, if you wish I can describe my movements from beginning to end. If you find your skype cam I can "show you".
Now before we do a Reiki Share I would like to suggest a group Reiki/energy sending for Alana. (see other thread) Then we shall set up a time for a share.
I use a lovely bear Gill, I find it helps with focus and intent as well. I agree at the same time....have you considered doing this via a chat room or messenger? Hope you were good today and didn't over do and I bet that hot shower felt like heaven! Love you!

I have been remiss. I really would love to do this. I have figured out how to do a "conference" on Yahoo Messenger, is anyone else a member then we can form a "Reiki Circle" so to speak. OR those who can will join in with the others available at the time suggested and after we can have feedback here after or later on..thots? I am chrystalpaths on the IM OR again, we can all choose a time and sit with out selves or our surrogate bear/bunny and send then have feedback...open to thots...
