Our old cali kitty, "Sweetie" has been passed for a week.......It seems she was the primary user of the litter box in the laundry room, although I KNOW our other cats used it too. Interestingly, since she's been gone -- all the other cats have stopped using the box......So, today I dumped the litter and pulled out a different box to replace it. For now, they are all using the out of doors, BUT you just never know.......

Got a phone call from our stallion - "JD's" new owners......They are madly in love with him! The electric fence paddock originally set up for him didn't work, so he's living in their back yard with their dog. This morning both of them were up the back porch pressing their noses up on the window. .......The middle daughter (age 11) has been working "JD" in their round pen area. In one day he has been walking, trotting, lead lounging, setting up.......on command. I think JD has found his PERFECT home.

I have a My Space friend by the name of Heidi Wright. She's a professional Animal Communicator and has a regular TV show that airs in Japan. (Wierd, I know.) She actually LIVES on the Oregon/California borner! I have privately written to her (nagging almost) that she needs to plan some workshops here on the AMERICAN WEST COAST........ Well, she wrote me a few days ago and said that she is doing it.......

So, on August 1st I'm going to a day long workshop on Animal Communication. It's only a 3 hour drive each way. (I may decide to spend the night.....not sure.) I'm just very excited. And Larry actually encouraged me to go.......especially since it doesn't conflict with any other plans.

What I don't understand is why no one else I know in my area is interested in participating. Yes, it costs $100. I've told a number of people about it who are interested in the subject........but, nope. Instead, they'd rather spend the bucks having their animals READ by someone else.

Anyway.......trust me, I am taking NOTES and I've already told Heidi that I may have her come up to Central Oregon in the future, if we can arrange a good place for her.
