No animalsHad a nightmare last night/early this morning........It was very real.
I woke up in bed. No cats and no dogs were around........my usual bedroom companions......all gone. I looked outside and there were no horses either.
All of a sudden I'm aware that the entire world no longer has any animals, birds, fish. All that are left living on earth are plants/trees...and humans.
It was horrifying. I was beginning to consider leaving this plane when I pulled myself out of the dream.
One thing for sure.......it would make an interesting horror movie!

Wow! Life on Earth without them would be no more worth living than the other side without them. They live where we do, on all plains, we need each other...the balance, the energy...the need. Not good at interps but wow...maybe someone else....you have had so much sadness and heartache with the fur.

My personal theory for a long time has been that when they go, we go. We're all tied together in so many ways. The idea of extinction of any species horrifies me. I can't even watch the part of nature shows that inevitebly (sp?) says something like "and the species is endangered because of man's encrochment on their habitat" or some such thing. I have to turn away. I've realized there is nothing I can personally do - except perhaps donate money and I have almost none of that. Certainly no extra.
I just watched a show on the science channel that was describing man's existance on Earth in the concept of time. Anyway, at this time, they said 99.9% of all species that ever existed on Earth are now extinct. We are in the End Time. But, we don't need to fear the end yet. The Earth has roughly another 4 billion years to go.
But how soon will the creatures and ourselves be gone? Distressing. Must have been an awful dream.

Deep ponders....all we can do as good humans is to live each day well and try to do our best for the animals as well as the humans to come, our children, grandchildren and so on...scary it is.
