New stones!WooHoo! I'm back from my weekend medieval event. I found a merchant there who dealt ONLY in rocks and crystals. She had sooooooooo many, I was overwhelmed. I didn't know what to buy. I was so attracted to so many, I spent two visits just looking & touching.
Finally, I went with what Sage had told me about how to choose one. I had been attracted to a large flourite that the woman set aside for me until I returned, just in case that was my final choice. I like the raw form more than the tumbled in almost all cases. The flourite was a good size cluster and wondrous. My choice was to spend my limited budget on one big one or buy a few other good sized ones.
But when I returned to the merchant, I followed Sage's advice. I bought the ones that called me. The ones that felt right. I touched them & had to have them. When I got home, I looked up their metaphysical properties, since I can't remember them. There's so much to learn!
Anyway, ended up with chalcopyrite, citrine, and lepidolite. I looked them up & they represent exactly what I was seeking. Call it happy coincidence or call it Sage's mentoring. Either way, I'm delighted with them. I'd like to post pix, but my camera apparently needs a new card -- something I know nothing about.
Anyway, just wanted to share. Wish you all could have come. - TT

Well done TT, but I would've been hard pressed not to have the flourite...it is one my biggest favs. The 3 you chose are wondrous good ones, citrine is perfect...energizing or soothing as you need, the lepidolite is magic...calming centering, I have to look up the other I'll assume a mix of chalcedony/pyrite...tho I don't do well with anything "pyrite" many love em! Fix that cam! Love to see them.

The chalcopyrite can be found on this page, but it won't let me cut & paste, so a person has to direct others to the link. Here's the link, and then, of course, you need to find chalcopyrite. See what I mean about the properties?

I really do need to get the cam fixed. I lost the manual long ago. How does one get a new card? Do you just pull out the old & put in the new? Any idea how much one runs? HELP!

T -- Can you take the camera to the store where you bought it or to A store where they sell the same brand? They can help you, I'm sure.
If it's just a case of needing a new card, I think that's all you do is replace.
Hopefully you don't have photos on your old card that you want to save, although there is probably a way of retrieving them.
I'm afraid I'm a bit electronically illiterate.

that's what is confusing.......I always emptied the photos when I downloaded into my computer & there's just maybe 25 in there now, but it won't even let me download them. It says "card full" on the LED screen on the camera. I guess I'll lose those pix then, huh?
The store where I bought it is gone, but maybe I can find out online. Thanks.

How about another store that sells your brand of camera?
Larry knows some about the computer and digital cameras, but when he doesn't know something, he calls on one of our computer geek friends.
Know anyone like that??? (We used to call on a computer savy teenager!)
