some interesting crystals here, what do you know of lightening struck quartz?

Welllllll....in my work with crystals...I have encountered fulgarites. Lightning is so powerful and hot it would destroy most quartz or melt it as shown in this link....I have no knowledge of the claims or crystals they show from Brazil..but I feel careful when I look at these...many of my own crystals look very similar to those and who's to say how they got that way...doubting Thomas here sorry....that said I did a search and came up with what I share here.

They look like regular old poor quality quartz points q25

usually you want the points to have clarity with few to no flaws, cracks, or goobers.

I honestly think it is a load of bull created to sell all the "junk" points

All that said I happen to even like the "junk" quality points but true collectors do not want less than near perfect

so they often sell their lesser stuff really cheap at the gem/rockhound shows
