It's Arrived :)My book Black Elk Speaks has just arrived!
And I got lots to do today, but, I shall work in the knowledge that when all is done, I can sit and read :)

The second book arrived today.
The Wisdom of the Native Americans
Including The Soul of an Indian
and other writings of Oshiyesa and the great speeches of Red Jacket, Chief Joseph and Chief Seattle.
Now this book I cannot put down!
I am learning much more. Like;
How to choose which words to use,
To listen to them before I speak them and more I cannot yet find words for.
Even the book is beautiful, it is hard back, a dull fox red; with a yellow ochre band top and bottom, an Indian standing in the centre, wrapped in a blanket, the title is written in yellow ochre too.
Standing Bear is mentioned in this book. I found he is a coming guide for a soul sister.
And Chief Joseph, I thouight I had the name wrong when I channeled him. I saw him and got the name Joseph.
This was a few years ago.
I still doubt myself.

I finished Black Elk this afternoon.
It is a very special book.
His vision is sort of coming true don't you think? Yet in a different way.
I have found, not only I am learning about Native American ways.
I have talked to many other friends and they are doing the same, we have been recommending books to each other.
So, maybe we are ancestors, reborn, of his tribe, the ones he saw in his vision.
Lots of maybes ..........
I thouroughly enjoyed this book and the photos at the back were a lovely surprise.
