As some have read, we've been dealing with an ailing old kitty....Splinter.

Twice this week while I was out feeding I felt a "Nose Butt" against the back of my thigh. Both times I wheeled around to speak to one of our dogs, but no one has been there!

Several years ago, my old golden girl, Sheena, did this to me AFTER she'd crossed over. She used to bump me to get my attention when she was alive physically and did it a few times during the first year after she passed.

So, this time, when it happened I sort of knew it was to let me know that something was going to happen and Sheena was was hanging around again. I told Larry about it and we both assumed it was Splinter.

Obviously, it wasn't. Splinter is doing amazingly well. Instead, our feet were pulled out from under us when Larry found our stallion, Raider, laying in his stall...........

Perhaps this is yet another reminder, that there IS a Rainbow Bridge. Raider obviously had one of our Fur-Family waiting for him who helped onto the Other Side. There's no other explanation, in my opinion.

This isn't the first time we've lost a special friend and I've been aware of another animal In Spirit being around........I know my seeing them isn't for me, but it still gives both Larry and me comfort.

I get a lovely mental picture of Sheena trotting beside Raider as he crosses over the bridge. There are many fur friends I look forward to seeing at the bridge when my day comes, maybe they will ALL come and walk me over, alas, we are not meant to know now.
