For many years I refused to have anything to do with American Indian culture.
There was a reason, a stupid one I see now.
Anyway, now I want to learn everything.
I feel there is not enough time.
I am reading through your posts here.
I also read your profile.

Ah Mia, I have become an interesting lady perhaps. I am happy to guide you, the Walk in Beauty is a fine way to live if you wish it. How can I help you begin? We can do this in private by emails, telephone, skype and here. I have guided others....sometimes it lasts a few weeks, a few months or longer. It depends on the person seeking. Think about what speaks to you about the Red Road and then make a list of what you are drawn to. Trust me, there is plenty of time...all things come in time and in Spirit...do not rush it will fly to you if the heart is open and pure, and if you wish it, I can guide you along the way.

Sage is a good one to seek from........She posts "teasers" to us regularly.

There is a book that I read (and re-read) years ago and is currently in storage which I think is absolutely wonderful. It was written by a medicine man (Shoshone?). The title holds his name... "Black Elk Speaks". If it is still available, it is worth tracking down.......

PS: I just Googled "Black Elk Speaks"...........It's been re-printed!!!! Black Elk was a Sioux Medicine Man, interviewed by John Neihardt in 1930-31. I read it......more like devoured it, back when I was in my late teens and then read snippets of it after I got married........I think I need to read it again!

Yes, to begin reading is good. My question meant, are you interested in the spiritual, historical, healing medicine ways or all of it. We can begin with what peaks your heart first. I do recommend first read all you can about the 7 Directions and the Medicine Wheel. And open yourself to your guides....look with new eyes at all things and see what speaks in you, speak to them. Then yes, share and more will no doubt join us and we shall walk this good road learning together to "walk in beauty".

Sorry, I didn't understand what you meant.
From what I have read, their spiritual ways are similar to my thoughts.
But yes, I would like to know more.
And their healing too.
I feel I know them Sage.

I'll tell you what happened.

2 months ago, I met a soul brother I had been talking to on the 'net.
He gave me a 'Friendship Feather' made by an American Indian, he ordered it to be made for me. The energy from it is WOW!

Then last wek, I joined in 2 meditations, one to cleanse the energy of a board I use. That was fantastic.
I saw my wolf pack beside me and my unicorn had her head over my shoulder.

The 2nd was a global one and we just had to open up and receive whatever came to us.

Both meds I felt so much love come to me, was overwhelming.

Then a friend said I was a wolf spirit child. I don't know if true or even if such a thing is, but I thanked her.

Then another said similar.

Then I get this yearning for American Indian knowledge!

It's similar to how I felt about wanting to connect to my soul family.

The series of, mmm, happenings just all seem to lead to Am Indians.

Oh and I changed my avatar to a feather.

A lot have commented on that too.

Ramble on Mia, this is how we get to know the inside of each other. It sounds like Brother Wolf would have you and he will be a totem or guide/guardian for you! Excellent. Wolf is a nurturer and leader, a family. Look around and read more. I have wolf tarot type cards I use to read people, I love em!

I did wonder if it was my wolf.

It's a huge She Wolf btw and a smaller black male who are in front. The rest always stay behind.

She Wolf is the leader.

I find I am wanting to learn the wisdom and healing bits best.

The history doesn't yet appeal to me.

I am going to make my own dream catcher when I have gathered all I need, ie; charms, crystals, feathers :)

Did you know that DreamCatchers are supposed to be parallel to your body and over it with the top to your head so when you dream and they rise, it catches them for you. Hung on a wall, they pass in front of the catcher. q18

I don't mind the history of the nation, but not individual tribes.

Surely I will learn that as I read the wisdom and healing won't I?

No no, you misunderstand. A basic understanding is fine and you have that. Each Nation, Clan or Tribe has their own ways in some aspects. I know the Haudenosaunee ways. Over on NLH you will find Cherokee, Lakota, and more so use us all. I will share what I know of my people. I have a link I will email you.

I got my friend to tell me who it was burning my head with energy, it made my head go numb.

Anyways, thought I'd let you know cos you helped me so much.

Mia, just start talking to him as if he was real in human form. In time he will answer you. It may take some time and some sacrifices but when they speak it is so wondrous good. I am glad you're seeking and finding.

That's why my friend gets upset with me. I do take it serious, but not for long enough.

And I try too hard to then get nowhere.

I know this is important and I don't want to mess it up.

My friend said G keeps repeating "come chosen one complete the path"

I would if I knew what it was! and he not telling me! or I not hear, he wouldn't tell my friend.

She say he says " come unto us children of the world"

Now are you sure your friend hears him? Guides can share but oftimes they are very particular about who they speak with. A guide never pushes, but will press gently. Consider him a part of you, speak with him as a person not a God. Just converse. I do this all the time with my group. Close out the friend's voice and insistance....I know she means well but pressure is NOT the way to hear the words.

Let it go...busy yourself elsewhere and just reach little things, every day things and he should show you something or speak..not all guides do Hun...patience is the key..to find, one must seek, not demand and definitely not on our timelines..on theirs..it could take a very long time and most likely when you least expect it...taking a shower, driving and listening to a song..in other words don't work at it...let it be. If I can help any further just holler.

Ha ha Sage, I did it, I found a way!
I tried just talking and getting an answer, then asked my pendulum,that was wrong, not right answer, so I tried writing the question, then the answer, then asking my pendulum and yes, It was right.
I have to wait til 'the leaves fall' before he will tell me what I have to do.
But he is with me now so we get used to one another and I learn to hear him without 'paper and writing stick'
My friend always helps me, she often gets messages for me from my guide or ascended master, they know where to go to tell me something and I tell her what her next step is, where I see her etc.
When she had dark night of soul, her guide would appear to me (I can see) and show me things for me to understand a message for her cos she couldn't hear him.
We very close.
But I do understand what you mean.

October will be a month for many manifestations Mia. Many of us will watch the signs over the next weeks until the harvest moon in October....be the bear...ready yourself for a long hard winter and look for the smallest of signs...my friend..my sister spirit has a spider and she speaks with her webbing and her weavings of things to come...spider also spoke to me...as did the woodpecker..we are to prepare.
