HawksLarry and I spent yesterday (Sunday) afternoon watching Brianna take part in a monthly "play day" at a local riding club arena with her quarter horse, "Beau".....The club puts members into different named groups according to their ages......She's a "Wrangler"......Larry and I are "Legends". LOL!
We took two vehicles. On the way home in my van I was very aware of several Red Tailed Hawks posted along the electric/phone lines. One was in a strange unstable place, bouncing on the actual lines, another had a small critter in its beak......And then......another dove right at my van! His talons and butt were aimed right at my windshield until he veered off within a foot or so from me.
To say it shook me up is to put it mildly......

Wow, mind these signs...3....3...again with you, now just stay alert for anything and everything, I sense no danger but anticipation...perhaps the 3rd slowed you down for a reason you may never know....how I love the hawks.
