Good morning, morning glories!

FINALLY, I have some morning glories blooming on my fence. If you'll recall, I planted them on my new gate and along my whole fence.

The gate ones are a bit of a disappointment since only one true plant came up, but it's spreading it's way to the gate from the fence.

Here's one that bloomed on the backyard fence. I bought the heirloom seeds, so the blooms are huge....they are this blue, dark pink & white. I'm sure once they get going in the spring, all the colors will at some point be blooming together. Right now, it's kind of hit or miss. These blooms are about 4-1/2 inches across.   Can't wait for this coming winter to pass already.

I'll post more if I get a nice display next week or so. I know this is just one bloom, but I'm so happy at least some of the seeds succeeded. Appreciating the 3 blooms this a.m. was my "me" time so far today. -tt

Sage - It SEEMS, seems, mind you, (don't want to curse it) that we may be winning the War of the Fleas, at last!! Oh, I can't get too excited tho because one day I'll find almost none on her, then suddenly a new group must hatch overnight & I find lots the next day. That's happened several times. q6

But now, maybe we're winning. She's itchy as all hell tho. Flea bites don't go away when the fleas have fled.  So..........I was in the basement going thru some of my old horse stuff & I came across a shampoo called Aloedine, by Farnam. It's aloe & iodine. Says it's good for dogs too, so I just bathed her in it & she's outside drying. It's supposed to cool and soothe & fight any infection. (fingers are crossed!)

Other than that, she's loosing some of her hair & just itching itching itching. But, if the fleas go, eventually, she must stop scrathing. Poor girl. I spend much time every day just rubbing her. She backs up to me & looks at me when she just can't reach that itch. I'm glad to oblidge.

Sorry, to go on so, but you know me.                       - tt
