FriendshipWe all do it
We work on a friendship
We meet and talk
Or write letters and telephone
We make none sex related frindships (well us older ones do)
All seems to be going along fine
When the whole friendship comes crashing down around our ears
What have we done?
What have we said?
How did it all fall apart so quickly?
These and many more questions go through our minds
When really, all the questions are a waste of breath
Because we cannot ask the person concerned
We never know if its us that has caused offence
Other the other person who has decieded that they don't want your friendship
Or don't need your friendship
We are strange folk us human beings

Ah I have been here so many times, you remind me to check in with some I have let float away from my days with horses...but of course we can ask, "where have you gone, how are you, and I care still tho life has pulled us away."

Timely Hermie.....my good friend of many years called last night, we have both become so busy our contact has been limited and our paths have drifted in different directions....it was nice to hear from her. and there are other friends I have let drift on and away, I have few real friends, lots of people I know and associate with but very few friends I let in to my world......
It usually is a matter of the persona came for a lesson and then moved on I always figure it was not meant to last forever but just for a time.....few will last forever....
