Freedom for Missy :)

As Missy has a vet app on Monday.
I decided to let her outside.
She had been out in her previous owners and was yearning to do so in mine.
So, I opened the patio doors, she did not notice, so I waited.
She took her normal position, sitting on the mat to look out.
Was so funny when she realised she could walk out.
She stood, looked and took a tentative step out.
Then for about 45 mins she was running here and there, looking investigating.
And miaowing when she couldn't see where she was.
I kept close by so she could see she was safe.
Then I lost her, couldn't see or hear her.
I was upset, but kept my cool/faith and after 35 terrible mins, she shot indoors, skidded to a stop and shot back out lol
I laughed and cried.
She did this a few more times, then calmed down.
After 3 hours of freedom, she now has had her breakfast ... yes at 12.45pm!! and has settled down for a snooze.
Indoors!
I am so glad Missy is no longer a prisoner :)
I have put a bubble of protection over her so when she stalks the bees and wasps she doesn't get hurt.
Bet you haven't guessed I love my Missy  q13

My garden is huge, with bushes and high fences on 3 sides.
The front is only accessible(sp) from the front door or a very high (8ft?) side gate.
The road out the front is pretty quiet, it's a cul-de-sac.
I am a lucky lady :)

She is beautiful q13  I keep my guys in to keep them from picking up fleas and ticks from the outside guys and brining them back inside. Kind of selfish on my part , but it is for their benefit too q18

Don't you just love it when a cat lets you become owned by it

lol Hermie.
That is so true.
But, to be completely honest.
If she was happier elsewhere, I would let her go.
And not grieve her leaving.

Ah Mia, she's lovely and your wee yard is purrfect for a safe play!  She looks very much like my long haired calico Trinity.  We'll be with her when she's to the vet.
