Fairies

Fairies -- who believes in them? What are they? And how do people see them?
Guest

I believe... I've seen what I call fairies more then once, but it was usually late at night/early in the morning. They came across as these weird shooting spots in my vision (several people have seen them with me). Almost like when you end up with those "floaters" in your vision, except floaters don't move like that... aren't multicolored at times... and don't make two people both look in the same direction!

Fairies

I always thought they were like fairy tales not real.
Then i read Edgar Cayces readings and read what he had to say, also hada couple of my own experiences yup they are real!
JMO tho.

I've never read any Edgar Cayce... always wanted to, ever since middle school when one of my then best friends mentioned his stuff.

How do YOU see them? And what were your encounters?

I thought I'd killed this thread by posting what I posted -.-

There you go.
No, I do not believe in Fairies- sorry, too much of the basics is easily explainable .
I do believe in Angels and I think the two are confused a lot- size is relative after all.

When I was little I remember seeing little earth spirits, but that is all I really remember.

I grew up with fairies and gnomes as part of our families culture. My grandma loved both. I used to love looking for fairy rings in the woods as a child. I am no artist BUT I have always drawn trees....me and trees we have this weird connection......my trees have always had dryads, I find it very difficult to draw a tree without a dryad.

I believe in fairies and many of the other creatures from fairytales. I've always figured there could be many planes of existence. Like UFO's many of the supposed sightings can be countered or proved as hoaxes BUT there are some that defy explanation.

On the other hand I have never really believed in angels at least not the way they are described by modern religion. :smt017 I know I have a guardian or 12 as I have survived enough unsurvivable situations that something definately has my back so to speak :smt002

Fairies

You really should read Edgar Cayce it is well worth the time and money. I am a member of the A.R.C. and feel it's money well spent.
That being said i think you have to be in a certain place in your journey for it to work for you.
I got into him 3 or 4 times before and nothing clicked then 3or 4 years later it was like wow!

Now this is well I will just say it. You will see fairies as YOU I believe as you expect to see them, so people will see them differently.

I see them as more like small people but they are like a little out of focus. They are pretty and their energies feel different than say angels their energy level is different.
I encountered my first one when I was in my pool. I was listening to Bach and was floating I was so relaxed looking at the clouds in the sky and kind of just vegging. I brought my glance down to the trees around the pool and
saw this little being in the tree. I fell off the float and damn neared drowned myself and looked again and there was nothing. so i figured i had fallen asleep and dreamed it.
But later on i asked the angels that if what i saw was real to let me see it again, and they did.

It was a little girl, pale yellow hair and kind of shy, I called her a wood nymph, as thats what I was told she was. I just sort of looked at her not smart enough to ask what I should have.I kind of went duh....... I know it makes me seem stupid but thats what i did and she faded.

their energy or the ones i have seen and I haven't seen that many I admit.
Is like that of a bird, and you have to connect quickly, and I am to busy being fascinated.

The one that i have seen the most is a wood nymph who is always around a very very very good friend of mine named Charlie.
Charlie and i were twins in a past life.
This little girl wood nymph stays with him all the time. she looks to be about 5 and is blonde wears overalls and is very clingey she always appears with her arms wrapped around his right knee, she just adores him.

Edgar Cayce played with what he referred to as the little people most of his childhood. He said they taught him things and told him things and he could feel safe when they were around.
See I think they appeared to him as little because then he would not be afraid of them so then they could teach him what they needed to instill in him for his future work.

I have not figured out if the wood nymphs are the same as fairies.
JMO now.

I am facinated reading about fairies and such...I don't think I've ever seen one knowingly. I see and hear lots of other things but I can't remember seeing one or more of these. I wish I could maybe I just am not "seeing"?

Ok basically it is a matter of language/region. Fairies, wood nymphs, dryads....basically the same creature different terminology. Fairy imagery dates back to 600BC and was found in Etruscan tombs. They originally were associated with the cult of the dead, and later were associated with nature. The phrase "knock on wood" stems from the need to thank the fairies for bringing good fortune.

I had to look some of that up.........

Fairies are known the world over. I have a number of books with fairy information. As I said I do believe in them.

I just have never actually SEEN them.........the closest I've gotten is walking in the Red Woods in California and hiking in the Cascades and "felt" that the trees had "spirit" and were talking -- for lack of a better way of describing it.

But I don't think that quite counts........

Oh God I KNOW Dryads and such exist- what I do not believe in is Tinkerbell!!!
I am a dedicated Pantheist- have been since I discarded God at nine years old and then worked things out for myself at 19!!!

I had never heard of "Dryads" until YOU.

So, I googled the subject........That's FASCINATING. Now it has me wondering if that's what I have sensed from the old trees and such all these years.  And I wonder if that's why I was able see auras around the trees? (just white auras, no color.)
