Thank you for our ancestors , grand parents , parents , elders and spiritual people , for the cultures , languages , traditional and sacred ways that they preserved and handed down to us so that we would not become lost as a people .

Thank you for our sacred mother earth , our grand mother , mothers , sisters , wives and daughters for they are sacred beings that we look upon with great respect and honor . They are the sacred well spring from which you give us life and our children . Women are the teachers of kindness , compassion , forgiveness , love and caring " without these sacred teachings we would be lost as human beings " .
