CRITTER UPDATEToday two major things happened.......
1** We set our little Starling FREE...... It knew about eating live flies. It knew about water. So we put a colored twist tie on his legs (not too tight, but tight enough so they wouldn't slide off) and I took his cage out to the stall where I kept finding him. He sat on my hand as I took him out of the cage. Then, he hesitated for a MOMENT and then FLEW up to the barn cross-beam. We saw two other young Starlings sitting outside on the fence and in a very short time he flew out and joined them......... Will keep you updated if we see him.......... I've left his cage with food and water on top of it available.
2** We have been enjoying watching a young doe in our big hay field for several days......Today as I came home from running errands I saw her. So I took a walk. She watched me the whole time and only allowed me to get just so close before she BOLTED.........Sure enough, a little spotted thing bounded after her. She had a fawn and our field was her SAFE PLACE.
All for now..........I have a house full of four TWEENS using our house as a "SAFE PLACE"!!! LOL.

Awwwwwww that's great! We found a fawn a few weeks ago while mowing the 2nd field so we stopped, a few days ago a momma and baby ran across the front and I smiled figuring it was the little one.
