You remember it so easily and readily
And remember it for too long
Enjoy the good
For tomorrow you will have forgotten it
And be waiting for the bad to arrive

Remember that walk in the park to feed the ducks
The sun beating down on you
The warm feeling of peace
That night of peace and passion
They are all wonderful moments
So why do you remember the washer breaking down
The days it took for it to be repaired
The time and effort wasted till it was sorted
You will remember it till it breaks down yet again
Have you really forgotten all the days of good selfless service it gave you
The days it worked without complaining
Even you break down and have a cold, flu, dizzy spells
So how long does it take for you to forget the last time you were ill
Have you so readily forgot the many days you body worked well for you
