An interesting Reiki experience........at least for METo be honest, I still feel very much the novice with long distance Reiki. So I tend to go off by myself and send to each person individually, and literally trace the symbols.......following all the "rules".........
However, the last two times I sent.......both people have told me that they had felt something, almost too soon! But I hadn't sent formally yet! I had only sent my intent. Does that make sense?

Aye, Boo...intent is all. The prep, ceremony, symbols are all bonus, the gift is in the pure intent that you wish to send. It's no work, it just flows! I tell my students..read this read that, see this, feel that, then toss it all and just do it. Use what works for you.

Personally i allways think the ceremoney, symbols etc are to get you into the place/frame of mind you need to be to send/give.
If you can get to that space without all the above then that is great.
