Lighting the Path Less Taken

Last nite, as I was tossing & turning unable to fall into a deep sleep, I had a short wonderful dream, that was more like a vision.

All it was, was a great reunion with much petting & smiling with my tri-color collie who had passed in 1979! I hadn't met up with her since she passed. Her appearance was totally unexpected & left me happy to have seen & touched her. I woke/became aware of the room, with a smile.

Her name was Goldberry (who was Tom Bombadil's wife in The Hobbit, for those of you who remember that) but I sometimes called her "Needlenose" because of her exteme elongated collie head. In this experience, I tossed her long hair in my hands. Stroked her head & said "Oh Needlenose!" She was beautiful & happy, as she always was.

Then it was over. That's all there was to it. But it was something I never expected. And something I'll cherish. She's still there. God, it's going to be crowded when I get to the Rainbow Bridge! ~ TT

You are so lucky to have such wonderful dogs "find" you in this life!

Ah TT it is going to be one hell of a party when you join all your beloved gone first! I picture you surrounded by the light and the love and each one vying for the pats and scritches and loves. Wondrous good vision/dream.
