Has anyone ever had a dream that was so vivid that when you woke up, you couldn't stop shaking and your body was aching all over?

This is going to sound weird. I had this dream last week, it was so vivid, I could smell and feel everything, it felt so real to me.

It starts off in my house, its late in the evening and its getting dark outside. Me and my family are running from something that doesn't look like humans, they kind of look like Vampires I guess. The things is I see everything in my dream in colour and feel everything, I'm panicking, I'm trying to get my family to saftey as these things are attacking us. I'm dressed all in black. As I run out of the house with my family I feel the wind in my face its chilly outside. We are in the car driving at high speed and then out of nowhere a man is standing in front of our car, my husband steps on the brakes fast and hard as not to hit him. This strangers shoves me in the back of the car and is looking at me while telling my husband to drive informing him of a way to get to a saftey house where no one cn find us. I can see his face but he too is dressed in black and wears a black cowboy hat that hides his face. When he looks at me I can feel electricity going through my body. This stranger save us but sticks to me follows me in the house. I wake up shaking and my body kind of aches for a while.

The next night I dream again, but this time I'm laying on a table and fighting with Vampires and the strange man from my preivous dream is there again saving me. I still can't see his face but again he is wearing all black and so am I. Again I wake up shaking and feeling every punch that I took.

I have been dreaming all last week one night after another about my house talking or fighing and this man is there in the background, I still can't see his face but I can smell him. Its like he is watching me all the time in my dreams.
Does anyone knows what this could me. I have been writing my dreams down in a book trying to make sense of it. But no matter what my dream is lately this stange man is always there in the background. Even now I still can't see his face but I know i feel very safe with him, sometimes i feel like I know him.

Maybe i'm going crazy, I have been reading vampire romance book since I have been out work.

Can anyone help??

Ah now where's that Owl? She is a wonder with dreams and she is also a fan of the books you read.
I think a combination of a book you enjoy combined with the uncertain feeling of being unemployed may be spawning the dreams BUT that said...this past full moon has been manifesting many dreams for alot of folks..awake dreams and sleep dreams..and an unsettling feeling of waiting for something....anyone else? Dreams are not my strong suit but I can send a soother! q18

A lot of what you are dreaming is probably one of those "loss of control" type of dreams and the book you are reading is just playing a part.

The person or Being that is there to help and gives you comfort may be a visual manifestation of your Guide.

The dreams themselves may not mean a whole lot except they represent turmoil for you and the "Helper" has made his presence known to you this way.

Do you meditate? Or are you ever aware of being in an "Alpha" state? These are good times to ask this Being - "Who are you?" and "Why are you here?"

This is just my take, working from my own experiences.

Thank you for your reply.

I do try and meditate at night before going to bed, that is the only time I get any peace in the house. The way I meditate is by listening to Reiki Healing music and trying to imagine a waterfall flowing. It is hard to keep this picture in my head as so many thoughts come and go. I really do try to conentrate hard. I hope I'm meditating correctly.

Sometimes my body jerks and at that time I'm thinking I fell asleep, so I stop after 20mins, but then I can't fall asleep. I think I need to buy a meditation book.

I had a dream last night that I went shopping during the day with my family and I saw that same stranger behind me staring at me but he was all blury.

All I know is that I love my family so much, but at the same time I feel kind of lonely. Maybe its all to do with me being out of work.

I was taking my kids to school this morning and I was talking to my youngest son about swimming, when I saw an imgine of the stranger in black in my head walking behind me, when I looked none was there. This has never happend to me before. It was spooky.

If this entity is starting to bother you, remember that YOU have the power and control to TELL it to leave!

The Entity isn't bothering me, well i don't think so. It's hard to say how I feel when I see him, but I feel kind of safe. I feel as if I know him but without looking at his face I have no idea who he is. All I know that in my dreams he protects me.

If he comes inot my dreams tonight I will try and speak to him. I don't know how I'm going to do that but I will try.

How does one know when they are in a Alpha state of mind. Anyone know?

Oh, and to answer your question about the Alpha state. It is that place between being awake and asleep, which is what you want to reach while in meditation. This is also a good place to be at if you want to open your Third Eye.

The first time that I realised that I was kind of psychic was at the age of 16. I was at school and I remember telling my friend that i was going to get married at an early age. When I turned 18 years old I got married.

The night before I got married I dremt that I entered a 3 bedroom house and walked into a room to my left, as i did I saw a colour painting on the wall of a lion, then noticed the red carpet. On my wedding day I walked into my In-Laws house and walked into the room to my left and the first thing I saw was the painting of the lion and the red carpet. As my mother in-law sat next to me I felt as if she was going to give me trouble I don't really know how to describe that feeling to you. But I knew I wasn't going to live in that house for very long. 1 month later they kicked me out of the house and made up lies that i was talking back to me, but the truth was I said no to having kids at that time as I didn't really know my husband all to well, we both agreed to wait 1 year if we are still together then we will have kids. My in-laws didn't like that so they kicked me and my hubby out of the house. That is when I knew I had some psychic abilities not very strong ones but I knew I had little.

Yesterday was funny, when I was coming home from picking my kids up from school, I told my kids to walk quickly as a car is coming and we will get splashed by the puddle. My kids ran qucikly and then looked at me and said. "Theres no car coming." As soon as they said that a car came round the corner, all I could do was laugh.

I have noticed that since i have been mediating my psychic abilitly has gotten alittle bit stronger. When I think to use my abilitily nothing happens, but when I don't think about it then things happen. I still don't know what kind of psychic I am but i get a feeling I have ab it of everything but they are not strong.

Last night I couldn't sleep, then a while later I must have fallen asleep, cause I dreamt of the stranger again. I was in a warm room, there was a indoor swimming pool, It was dark outside. I was wearing all black clothes. I was in the pool with the stranger, he put his hand over my mouth and pointed to the surface as we hid under water informing me that there were men around the pool with guns. I couldn't hold my breath for long and he let me come above the water quietly, I saw the men leaving the room. The stranger helps me out of the pool, our clothes are all wet. i look at him and try to ask him who he is, but he puts a finger on his lips so I would stay quiet. I notice for the first time that he has long black hair tied up. He looks well built. then I wake up.

I went straight back to sleep and dreamt that I was in a room sitting on chairs in a circle talking to a group about how I mediate. I hear other people talking, they are all female but I can't see their faces. I wake up and its time to get the kids ready for school.
