Taking Missy to the vet today.
We have had her 3 weeks, but, we think she is very pregnant :(
She is 5 months old.
Keep her in your thoughts please.

The vet was really nice.
He says it is ok to take everything away and better for her.
Costing a bomb, but, I accept that.
Getting her chipped at same time.
It's next Thursday or Friday we take her.

Aye, with the felines, it is better and safer to just remove.  I know tis sad but sadder still for a babe to have babes,  You had no way if knowing she was bred when you got her.  We'll be with her then Hun  q54

It's Thursday between 8 and 8.30am I take her.
Don't know what time the op is.

I was hoping the babes would be taken away, but didn't know if there was an 'age' limit like with humans.
Thankfully not.
I am sad for the little unborn ones, but, she was probably meant to come to me for the op to happen.
I am not hard hearted, just practical.
It does hurt me the same as others.

Love mia xx

I do think she found you to help her, having had barn cats in the past, early pregnancies do happen and most likely the poor queen went thru the birthing but had no idea what happened and left the still enclosed kits to die, then the risk of infection happens.  You love her and you do the best for her and her future.  My Trinity goes this Thursday also to be spayed.

There is no controlling the female urges

Hermie, You are one BAD son-of-a-gun...........

Mia, I can understand the mixed feelings.  We had to do the same thing once.  Fortunately the pregnancy was very early.  In the grand scheme of things, you did what was best for your Missy.

Bless you.

Mia she will be fine and much happier for having it done... I wish more people were practical instead of insisting on letting them litter first.....sigh...

Must be International Spay Your Cat Week!  My Happy Cat and my son's Trixie (happy cat's granddaughter) are both getting spayed Wednesday. So, Missy is not alone for sure.
