The cold weather comes for many of us round the world.  Our aches and pains find us when we awaken each morning..at least mine do.  q5   I chose "hematite" today for it's wonderful cooling or warming ability.  This quick silver stone always does just what you need when you need it.

HEMATITE  (metallic silver gray) is very effective at grounding, while harmonizing body, mind and spirit.  It dissolves negativity and protects any from entering your aura.    A good stone for the timid man or woman, it boosts self-esteem, enhances willpower and imparts confidence helping you come to terms with mistakes and to accept them as learning experiences rather than disasters.  It stimulates concentration, focus and memory.

Physically Hematite has a strong connection to the blood supply, it helps with Reynauds disease, anemia, bruises, contusions, burns and blistering...placed on an injury, it will slow bleeding and minimize the bruising, for burns it cools the heat easing the pain, placed at the top of your spine, hematite helps with spinal manipulation by a chiropractor, physical therapist, or Reiki practitioner.

An iron oxide, steel gray to iron black in color. Hematite is one of the most grounding of all stones (Root Chakra.), it transforms fuzziness into mental clarity, concentration, memory, practicality, helps study, bookkeeping, detail work, sound sleep.
Egyptians used it to calm hysteria and anxiety. The iron in this mineral has a strong effect on the blood.
Used in supporting the kidney's blood-cleansing function. This protective stone helps bolster low self-esteem. Helps in tissue regeneration.

(when I had my hand on fire and the burns were so bad-I placed hematite in the warm water each day when I had to debride the burns.  The drs were amazed at how fast 2nd and a few 3rd degree burns healed.  I have one tiny scar beside the base of my pinky and I believe hematite and Reiki from many healed me)
