I noticed a comment from Chrystal (Hi Chrystal) in a previous post "Well said Linda, this next year is going to take alot out of many and the lightworkers will be sorely needed," and this got me thinking. What is the upcoming role of the Lightworker? What is a Lightworker? This is a difficult question to answer and I think in it's simplest form it is this. To hold the Light. Now I do not know the context of Chrystal's statement but her statement is absolutely true, there are tough times ahead and the role of the Lightworker will become more and more evident and important.

Well, its over a year now since I originally posted the following message and I thought I would post it here for your thoughts and consideration.

The original message was channeled by my friend "Gail DaMota who is a channel for Archangel Phanuel" yet it differs from the many channeled messages which seem to be all over the internet, Phanuel always steered the readings onto one main topic, that topic was the Photon Belt and the coming earth changes.

As a channel you step out of your body and let the Angelic energy in but you do remember bits and pieces, keywords and topics and of course the client would always discuss the reading and the "strange," message received about the coming changes. This was a pattern repeating through other Angelic channels, the Archangels had important information they wanted to get across yet it was not one of the usual generic peace, love and harmony, the main difference was they were giving a glimpse into the future.

It was these references which took our curiosity, the information was coming through in bits and pieces but we wanted to know more! We decided to do a channeling and we composed some very specific questions which I would ask Phanuel to throw some much needed light on the subject but we got more than we bargained for. The session was recorded and the following is an edited transcript of that session.....

Archangel Phanuel on Apathy:

A: Apathy is one of the seven deadly sins and it is truly a sin. For apathy is a complete disrespect for the life and gifts the Lord has given each and every human that walks on this planet. This time here is very brief and is very special, sacred. It is a sacred path; it is a sacred opportunity that few actually possess. Although your numbers seem immense there are truly very few of you in relation to the beings of the other the galaxies, universes and within the Hierarchy of Light. You humans are a very small and select group and this journey and this path that you are given in this life is truly one of the highest and most sacred nature and one that should be revered and respected. When an individual moves into apathy and disregard for the work and the gifts that have been brought to them, it is a sin, for it is, if you will, a throwing away or a throwing back of a gift that has been brought to you by God. It is a destruction of will, of light. It is one of the heaviest shadows that man can cast for within the apathy the shadow is so thick and so heavy that it can block the light. And it is in these pockets of apathy that evil is allowed to thrive and grow.

Q: Have the changes coming forth (2012) been pre-determined?

A: Some but not all, for some occur simply as the aging process of a civilization and as in this(,) case many civilizations. As with the fall of Atlantis there was much structural change within the planet and within the structure of the civilization of the people who had occupied the planet at that time. Same with when Lemuria was altered and shifted there was much galactic activity during the time of Lemuria that brought about the shift and the change. Although the change was necessary, the change was predetermined in that all must change. Change is something that will always occur for without change there is nothing. There must be progression at all times and as one progresses there is a disruption, there is a rebuilding. There is no difference with this energy or concept as with 2012. However as with all times in this human history the humans have been given the gift of free will. This is a gift that even we angels do not possess. It is gift that is given solely to humanity. As such, humanity is much in control of its own destiny and its own future. It is the collective consciousness of the planet that will determine the outcome of 2012. Each of the Mystery Schools holds a key and within each of these schools there are master weavers, such as those that are currently held within the Tibetan Mystery School, who take the energy of the collective consciousness and with that energy they create threads: threads of power, threads of influence, threads of guidance that are weaving a mandala. This mandala is a tapestry of the history of humanity and to its future. It is made as humanity progresses so the end picture has not yet been formed but it is in the process. It is the reason at this point there is such push for spirituality and it is why many have chosen sides. For those who chose to have the path of darkness be their beacon in exchange for power and control at the time of the completion of this tapestry, they will be working to counter those that are choosing to work with the light, to bring humanity to a higher level, to a level we have never quite been able to reach except for when our initial creation had occurred. The difference is at this new level we are fully aware of the path that we have just walked. We are aware of the pitfalls, of the inner demons. It is a human that is truly enlightened and not just pure for one may be pure but not enlightened. So this path that many are working on at this time is to raise the vibration of the planet and to bring humanity to a much higher level. So through this work through this removal of judgment of others, through this openness and acceptance, through this education and initiatory path, through the DNA Activations, through the Adam Kadmon, through many of the other valid fields, many of the Wiccans, many of the Rosicrucians, many of the different lineages that currently abound this planet, the Buddhists the Muslims, etc… They are indeed working towards this higher vibrational path. They are all valid paths for there are multiple paths based on each individual’s soul group and classification and contracts. Each of them are working to create threads of gold, of silver, and of white to bring in this higher vibrational energy for the gold, the silver, the white, the purple, these are the highest rays of creation. These are the rays of the offices of the highest levels of the Hierarchy of Light. And the more these energies, these rays, these threads can be woven into this tapestry the greater this tapestry will be the creation of a Shamballa rather than a dark age.

Q: What role will the Angels and the Hierarchy of Light take during this time?

A: It is the role we currently take now for we are here to serve. It is up to humanity to call upon us to have us serve in the highest vibrations of light. We are also here to call for protection for there are many of us who are true warrior angels, there are those that are the guardians, there are those that are the teachers, there are those that are the warriors who will fight by your side if called upon and if necessary.

Q: This is a time of great doubt for us and it is not easy to move forward without a degree of fear, have you any words of comfort to help us through?

A: Comfort comes from within ones own heart. It is the comfort in the belief in God, it is called, as your word, Faith, for the stronger the Faith the stronger the Love. These two energies, these are powers, they are not emotions, these are forces – Faith, Hope, Love, Charity – those were the keys that brought the Christ through the desert and through the darkest hours, the darkest nights of the soul. For humanity must remain in grasp of these keys and to bring one through is simply to rely and operate from those higher vibrational levels. This is what will bring one through and help to create this tapestry of light and love. Humanity is not innately evil, it is innately good, it is just in conflict.

Q: Was there a turning point in our evolution which demanded these changes, if so what was it?

A: This is simply the aging of civilization as we know it. The industrial age brought a great deal of power and gifts to this planet. It also brought a separation from the faith in God that so many now suffer from at this time. For those that are in the deepest pain are those that have the weakest faith and at this time that is what is bringing about the change for many individuals. Faith is constantly tested and you are constantly pushed and although you may blame others for the problems in your life it is truly your own flaws that create them.

Q: Are the changes coming similar to those described in the Book of Revelations?

A: Much in the Book of Revelations, particularly the earth changes are indeed valid. However the Book of Revelations is more of a warning to humanity. For if humanity does not follow the word of God and does not follow in highest vibrations and aspirations that God has taught and handed down through his prophets, and through his son, through the Messiah. If the word of God, the love, the acceptance, those vibrational rays that were spoken of earlier are not created then the devastation and the destruction shall indeed come. For these books these prophecies are a warning of what can be created by humanity. Humanity has tremendous power of creation and destruction. It is up to the collective masses to determine what will be that outcome. So yes, the Book of Revelations has much knowledge in it but this is more of a metaphorical warning of what can and will come and it is not a predestined outcome per say.

Q: Are the world’s governments acting from the darkness and putting humanity at risk?

A: Both. There many in governments around this world and around this planet that are of the highest light and are high initiates who are working truly in their best efforts to bring light and peace to this planet. And there are many within these seats of government that are working to destroy, to control, and to conquer. It is simply just reading the news to see which countries at this time are being led by the most destructive forces and which have tried to remain within the light. The battle between good and evil will always come in seats of government as well, for the government holds much power and control. Therefore most major capitals or houses of government of the most powerful countries of this planet are located in very powerful energetic areas. They are power centers where the grids within the planet’s structure are the strongest in both the polarity of the magnetic energies as well as the strongest with the connections to the galactic energies and to that deep within Mother Earth. For this reason there is also much polarity at these locations, where there will be much light and much darkness. At this time there is no determined winner in terms of which is winning - the light or the dark. At times it is as a pendulum swinging where at times the darkness certainly seems to have the greatest influence over these seats of government yet at other times the light prevails. Your World War is an example of how this pendulum may swing and how at end there is light that prevailed.

Q: Are there any particular countries that we should be very vigilant with at this time?

A: The United States, the United Kingdom, China has much influence over the fate of all of Asia. North Korea is a distraction – he is what one would call a gnat that flies around ones head. He will not create the destruction unless he is confident that China will not destroy him. It is China that is the key in that region. The Middle East has always been and will remain a key and critical point. But at this time there are other areas of this world, not so much a specific country, but as a specific region. South America, in the core of it, shall become a hot political bed with much violence and destruction. Deep within the Amazon there is a battle of good and evil of proportions that many of the civilized world is not even fully aware of. This battle is not amongst the humanity yet, it is simply amongst the evil and the light that exists deep within the Amazon. The Amazon region is one of most magical, powerful regions within in world and there is much magic in that region of both light of dark. The dark is very powerful at this time. There is a tremendous battle within this region and the outcome of this battle will determine the influence of over South America in the future, particularly within the core region of South America. At this time this battle will come out and it will be one of man against man, and man against nature and we will see an escalation of the violence, we would simply caution that one be clear as to which side one is taking when one chooses to participate in the affairs of this region. (Note: The map shown to the channel appears to the area where the borders of Bolivia and Brazil meet just north of Paraguay).

Q: With the changes occurring within the planet and natural disasters set to increase, are there particular geographic areas at greater risk?

A: Yes. The coastal countries – in the United States, the coastal states are all at risk for there will be a tremendous increase in the sea level and as this occurs there will be great flooding within the shores, not only of the United States, but much of Europe. There will be a division within the United States as the Mississippi River will continue to grow and expand as the polar ice caps melt it will divide this country into two halves. There will be changes within the northern Europe area all the way down into the United Kingdom where much of the land mass will be under water. As a result the climate will be shifting in those areas and it will become colder, wetter, the oceans will become much more active and fierce in those regions. In the Asian belt the volcanic activity will increase. The ring of fire will bring about a complete destruction of some of the existing land masses and yet new land masses will be created in different energy areas within what is now what one would call ocean or a sea bed.

Q: Are these atmospheric changes caused by humans? Have we brought these changes about because of the way we have treated the planet?

A: Only to a certain extent. Some of them are the natural course of the aging process of the planet and of the solar system.

Q: Why must there be great loss of innocent life through these disasters?

A: Innocent life versus non-innocent life - it is a judgment on the part of humanity as to who is innocent and who is not, who is worthy of ascending, who is worthy of remaining on the planet. Not all ascension is a negative. It is not as if the life is not complete when it moves forward. There is a judgment that you have to put upon the death when in actuality the pain comes to those who remain not to the one who has ascended. We caution such terms of the innocent and of the guilty for those are human terms within your systematic judicial system. It is not terminology that you will find within the Hierarchy of Light. It is not for you to judge whose time it is to cross and whose time it is to stay. For those decisions are made with the individual’s knowledge on a spiritual level.

Q: Will there be extra-terrestrial influence during this time and will it be good or bad?

A: Yes and both and it is occurring as we so speak. The extra-terrestrials have always been a part of the influence of this planet. For much of the work that is done, the technology that has been handed down and channeled to this planet has come from the extra-terrestrial sources. Those that you call the Galactic Federation are equal and valid members of the Hierarchy of Light. They work with humanity at all times. Just as there are those within Galactic Federation of Light there are there are the opposite of light, there are those who will work with those of darkness who will work toward the destruction rather than the creation of the planet. So it is and has always been and will continue to be so.

Q: What effect will this have on society in general? Will there be social unrest, further conflict and war, will there be social and economical collapse?

A: There will be a restructuring and at times there will be war. We have just discussed one such that is soon to be present in the South American region in the central part of that continent. And you have wars being held all over this planet at this time and this is not going to end in any near future. There will likely be an escalation before peace will be brought about. This is part of the violent nature of the human and the lack of acceptance and of love and faith. The war is an outcome; it is the attempt of one nation or individual to wish to take control or power of another. It is simply an expression of the judgment where one nation feels that they’re right over another. At the same time there is much evil that is not being addressed on this planet and there are nations that are turning a blind eye to this evil. Which is again the apathy we so spoke of earlier. So there are wars at times that are indeed fought to bring about the light and there are wars that are indeed fought to bring about control and power and devastation.

Q: Is there any particular country that is working for evil at the moment?

A: There are many – it is not the country that is working for the evil, it is individuals within these countries that are working for evil. And all such have that potential. The countries that we spoke of earlier are the countries that have tremendous influence at this time either through money, volume of individuals, through weapons, through education, through various means. These are the countries that have a great deal of influence on the planet’s future and within those governments seat those of the light and those of darkness and there is constantly a struggle between these two. At this time one must watch China very closely for China is at a cusp of which way it will move and the battle continues to wage within the halls of its government at this time.

Q: How will these changes affect world religions as this unfolds?

A: Much as they are impacted at this time. World religions have always held a tremendous amount of power and control over the individuals. As with some of the Earth changes, the religions themselves are not the issue, for they are a means for many people to find their faith and their connection to their spiritual self, to their God. It is a way for most of the masses to be able to connect with those higher energies and those higher vibrations and for most of the individuals it serves them quite well. It is only when one steps into what you would call a fanatic behavior that one would then begin to see the breaking down. There has been much held within the Roman Catholic church that has been held from the masses for a fear that the masses were not prepared to deal with the information that is contained in those hallowed halls. This information will slowly begin to come forward. The next battle for control of that church will be one of tremendous light and tremendous dark. And if the light shall prevail, the church will be opening its doors and allowing the information that has been kept secret for so long to come out to the masses. In doing so tremendous light will be brought to the planet. If the darkness prevails and a dark one is put in to the throne or position of power within that structural organization, it will cast a shadow on this planet that has not been cast in over 4,000 years. And the battle for good and evil will become extremely difficult for those of light for many of the light workers will fall at that time.

Q: What is the greatest danger to humanity this brings?

A: Judgment. Judgment of their brothers and sisters. Judgment upon themselves. Apathy. Depression. Lack of faith. Lack of love.

Q: What can humanity do to help?

A: The simple words that have been repeated throughout the times: Do on to others as you would have done on to yourself. For that is truly a barometer for one. For if you all treated your brothers and sisters with the respect and the love that you yourselves wish to have in your lives, would you all not be in a place of much higher vibration naturally?

Q: How best can we serve as individuals to ensure that the changes that are manifested are those of Shamballa rather than destruction?

A: It is important that each individual take responsibility for their own actions, their own losses and take control over their own destiny and future. To sit back and state that others have done onto us and to say we can not move forward because of this or because of that is, I believe the word, copout. For you are in control of your own destiny and it is when you take responsibility for your own actions or lack thereof that you learn from your mistakes and can move forward and carry the light. And it this time when you control your destiny, you bring forth those higher vibrations of the faith and the love and the hope. As a light worker, one of the most important tasks of a light worker is to bring hope to other individuals.

Q: Does the Hierarchy of Light and the Angels view these changes with trepidation too?

A: Trepidation is not a word that we fully grasp for that is more of a human emotion. It is not one that we understand. We at times mourn for those that we are charged with when we see that they have moved from their path or have failed to step on to it. For we love you with such intensity. Trepidation for humanity is not a concept that can be grasped by us for our love for humanity, and our faith in God is above and beyond all. And since humanity is a creation of God we have faith that humans will prevail.

Q: Is there any further information that you can give us beyond what you have already provided us about what will happen during and after these changes?

A: It is as we said; the tapestry or the mandala is being woven as we go. They key is the four keys: Faith, Hope, Charity and Love. It is about stepping in to ones power. It is manifest destiny. It is faith. It is Love. It is Charity. These are not simply words of fluff, these are words of power. And when humanity begins to embrace the power that is contained within these words, it will pull them through ANYTHING that can be thrown at them.

Debs: I think the apathy in people's lives will ultimately be the downfall of most. It is up to the individual to step up, give themselves a shake and improve their life and by doing so improving anothers...kind of a domino affect. If I help you, you help someone, and they help another and so on. It can be as little as common courtesy, something sorely lacking in this century. The return of courtesy and being sensitive is the key to saving anyone, especially yourself. To sit back apathetically and let life run you down is unacceptable. One must take the reins(horse person here) or the wheel, and drive your own way thru life. I look at this teen to 20s generation and their lack of courtesy...I fear for the future in their hands but I have hopes that the core of them will sprinkle seeds of goodness among them and we older folks must also. I know that tattooed, totally pierced guy or gal may repulse you but take a chance and look them in the eye and "smile" as you go by. Bet you get one back, then they'll smile and it'll get passed along. Such tiny moves move great mountains. Living like this is living in a total lack of light, we can't survive in the dark...we need the light and the lightworkers to provide that spark to others. nuf a that!

Debs: I am believer in fate/destiny/Kharma...call it what you will. I agree that we have free will and can help our future along but it will go as it should. Live in that darkness he speaks of and you cannot go forward. The date 2012 I am unsure of, but I know the time draws near....each year that goes by the feelings of energy get stronger and folks get more frenetic and feel like they just gotta find something! I am seeing so many this year, 2008, that are changing their lives...homes, jobs, partners, directions, faith! This year is the year to step up...2012 is only 4 yrs away. People who have never in their wildest dreams considered alternative thinking are being drawn like moths to a flame....searching for that something. We have to be the flame. I had to stop and really wrap my mind around that....only 4 yrs. Think where you were 4 yrs ago...where are you now in your life? Is it better? worse? different? This year will be a year of the caterpillar changing to the butterfly for many but they have to take the steps to search for it, to step into the light and hope for a future. It is this group of like minded folk that will kindle that spark and help the change begin and continue. SO..predetermined? Perhaps, but with that free will he speaks of...we can tweak it a bit and help the future along I think!

Q: What role will the Angels and the Hierarchy of Light take during this time?
Debs: HUGE role! My guides and angels have stepped up so much in the last year you would be amazed cuz I am. Call me crazy, but they are always here now, I talk to them all day. They help me all day. I ask, they answer, all day. Used to be once in a while but now...it is intense and I love it and use it to learn and move forward in my quest. Everyone has a guide(s) & angels and they need to open up to the idea and allow themselves to feel them, maybe to hear them and allow them to help guide you along this Path. 2008 is going to be a biggie and having a guide is invaluable.

Q: This is a time of great doubt for us and it is not easy to move forward without a degree of fear, have you any words of comfort to help us through?
Debs: Change is fearsome. We are creatures who love our routines and habits. New things kinda spook us but intrigue us as well. When I was hurt so badly all those years ago and standard med help (human and chemical) was failing me...I turned a corner...I remembered an old me, a young me really who believed in light and natural healing and I went on a quest and found healing and was swallowed whole by it. Trust me, the injuries I have suffered have been huge but each one has moved me closer to who I am now and what I do. So doubt...absolutely we do. It is in us to be unsure, distrustful, but I have learned as a lightworker that you have to open yourself a bit (shielded of course) and share the light. You know the song, "this little light of mine...I'm gonn make it shine.......?
WE have to be the light, share the light, and erase or lessen the doubt so this cosmos of people can learn and move forward and have a future for life.

Q: Was there a turning point in our evolution which demanded these changes, if so what was it?
Debs: I think our industrial revolution was the turning point in human apathy and respect or the lack there of. That said, I can't imagine my life without the computer. What a wondrous thing to be able to reach out and touch someone with the stroke of key. This key is a powerful tool and can and will help spread the message we need to share.

Q: Are the changes coming similar to those described in the Book of Revelations?
Debs: Oh ya! Look at the natural disasters that seem to be getting more frequent and more intense. This is a huge point of pain for us like minded folk. The pain we feel from those collective energies can bring us to our knees if we aren't careful and sheilded. Being sheilded isn't not caring it is caring and being able to help with our prayers and our light when these bad things happen. These are all the things that are trying to wake mankind up! Live for the now....make it the best.

Q: Are the world’s governments acting from the darkness and putting humanity at risk?
Debs: Oh dear....politics has lost it's lustrous hope I fear. My hope is that there will come some few that have the light in them and will begin to build and not destroy...think of the people and not the bottom line and power.

Q: Are there any particular countries that we should be very vigilant with at this time?
Debs: In this I have no idea....some places feel bad...I don't even like to hear about them..they have no hope. Their only hope is to find their true faith and ask themselves "is this right?"

Debs: I wouldn't live on the coastal states and countries either. Mother Nature is going to have her way and people have got to listen. I fear for California, Mexico, Florida and the surrounding areas for the closer ones.

A: Only to a certain extent. Some of them are the natural course of the aging process of the planet and of the solar system.
Debs: I'll agree here...we as human species have harmed this home we live on but it is getting to be an old home and in time it will break down as have other planets.

Debs: Who is to say...we are mere mortals and while it hurts us, we can only pray and share our light for those yet to be lost or to be found. It is a cosmic cleansing at random..I don't feel any great being takes his magnifying glass to our anthills to do harm...it is just part of the story, the road of earth's life...this is another reason we need to stop and listen inside ourselves...where are we, where should we be...if a disaster hit..what would you do? I would sit and do as I'm doing now...if I died..I at least died knowing I did the best I could, that I mattered.

Q: Will there be extra-terrestrial influence during this time and will it be good or bad?
Debs: Hmmm....this is a big discussion topic. I am of the mind...there's alot of space out there, what a waste for it to be empty of other life. Perhaps they helped us along, gave us a nudge...that brings to mind "what about God?" but why not both....one train of thought by some is, if they indeed seeded the earth with us...wouldn't they have given us a God, faith, something to soothe ourselves with? I wonder at times..who the hell thought up the internet...flying...what put that tiny see of wonder in that human head...God...others...both? I think it takes an open mind regardless.

Q: What effect will this have on society in general? Will there be social unrest, further conflict and war, will there be social and economical collapse?
Debs: We are humans...we fight...we always have and sadly always will until there is a catastrophic event to bring mankind to her knees and show her just how badly we have behaved and treated our world and fellow man. The politicians of the world see only power, not the person who lives within it. There will be one more huge war...maybe a world war. Will you be ready? (another great topic to discuss..getting ready for the huge cosmos change reality wise)

Q: Is there any particular country that is working for evil at the moment?
Debs: I don't know. I am sure there is because when I open I feel trepidation but I am an ostrich on the political front. I live in my hollow, if the world ended right this moment...imagine...I'm doing something I love...sharing my thoughts and information and feelings, sitting here at my desk in my magical hollow, dogs by my side, horses out front, the quiet is loud and soothing....if it ended right this second...I'd be ok...I got there....I hope you all do too.

Q: How will these changes affect world religions as this unfolds?
Debs: Ahhh "religion". I think folks need to really look into the heart of "religions" and find what they need, and toss the rest. Faith is what religion should be. Faith, hope, helping....these are what "religion" was about, should be about but today's religion is very political in some realms. I was born Methodist, became a Catrholic after a huge epiphay BUT Father Buckle always told me I was a selective Catholic. I disagreed with much of the ruling doctrine but loved the mass ceremony and the rosary....now, 30 yrs later I am a woman of my own faith. I use stones as my rosaries...God knows I don't need a label on my head for him/her to see my heart and who and what I am...each person needs to look to themselves for a faith be it a God, Goddess, Great Spirit, Budda, Great Spirit.....Faith by any name is a good thing, it gives hope and light.

Q: What is the greatest danger to humanity this brings?
Debs: Fear, the desire to not do anything to help move forward. Routine is pleasant, safe feeling but may well NOT be good for us.

Q: What can humanity do to help?

Debs: Putting the word "Shamballa" aside, we have to address ourselves first, then move to help each other, one person at a time in whatever way feels right to you. By sharing your light, your care...you begin this domino affect I spoke of and it can't help but heal and help bit by bit...begin with that smile. Listen for your guide or angel and listen. Debs: No, I don't think so. They've been there done that kinda thing and what they're doing now is trying to get our atention so they can help us along NOW.

"It is too early in the day for me to get so reflective, but I will second the things Debs said, but I believe that everyone, each individual, must interpret for themselves.

Remember when the calendar turned 2000? People were buildng earth shelters, stocking up, arming themselves etc. What a bust that was. But millions were convinced that it was, without doubt, the end of days.

The end, for each of us, will come individually. So, if it actually was total global destruction on 12/21/12, how would you know? Would we all die at exactly the same nano-second? And if we did, how would we know anyone else had died? We wouldn't know, would we? It's all said to happen on a particular day.....I don't see, then, it happening (if it would) in a time sync where anyone anywhere would realize it was the end of all things. There would be no CNN.

And if its true, how can we prepare for it? What is there to prepare for? None of us would be left.

It's a dier (sp) prophecy. Do we believe it? It's up to each of us. do we believe the faith/beliefs of a civilization that has long-gone? The Egyptians believe mummuifcation would make them eternal. Their bodies are still here -- all mummified -- but where are their souls? We won't ever know -- except perhaps one day. And that day, as far as I can tell, comes for each of us at it's own time -- not when someone who lived a 1000 years ago tells me it will.

I'll say this: I have enough trouble with what current relgions tell us we should believe or not believe. Yes, the Mayan's mathamtical & astronomy talents were astounding. But does that make them omnipotent? There were civilations thousands of years, the experts are now say, before the Egyptians and almost any civilization that we currently know of. It just gets deeper.

As always, there is value in bettering ourselves and our surroundings. If those with "special" talents pool their talents for good, the result can only be good. For evil, the result can only be evil. It's individiual, just like the time that we each see the end of days.

I will agree, Mayans were just humans like us, not omnipotent, and while I think their mathmatical skills are what got folks so drawn to the other things, I'll go my own way. I like your points about the end...how would we know and would we be able to do anything about it? Nope, that's why I'm here in the hollow..hermit lady that I am...doing what I can to lighten the load of those via human and cyber touch. Taking each dawn and as new beginning...

I was most intrigued by the list of countries holding elections, the olympics are happening, the freedom tower is supposed to be completed AND the galactic issue (touched on in the show as well) where the sun and milkyway will align and there is a possibility for a polar shift in the sun and the earth wobble issue. If I simply look at the events I can say that is a year with alot going on in general and it could be a year of great change. All the things that intrigued me from wikipedia can be validated by other sources so it wasn't any of the fluff stuff

I find that the mayan TIME correlates well with the Astrology that I study, and I find it even more interesting how so many ancient religions/calendars/time from all over the world are actually so similar. From their knowledge of astrology to their pyramid building to their calendars and their predictions.........I am fascinated by ancient civilizations. I also believe history repeats itself over and over in a cycle. I also believe that our planet has been repeating a cycle of destruction and rebirth and that the current scientific timelines are at best WAY off. There are too many gaps. Of course all of this useless knowledge I have gathered also leads me to the conclusion that the whole global warming would be happening regardless of us it is part of the planetary/cosmic cycle. Something else that strikes me is the fact that even though we are technologically advanced it would not take much to erase OUR civilization almost completely where many ancient civilizations relics are still in existance. There was another show just on that dealt with this and it was also intriguing to watch.

We are supposed to be entering the age of aquarius at roughly the year 2000 some say it was entered earlier some say it is here now but after watching that show I almost wonder if the 2012 isn't the actual entry q25

And to top everything off this week.........they have a photo of what appears to be a man sitting on Mars

or else it is bigfoot on Mars. And in the last week or so there was another UFO sighting at an airport or military base or something....have not had time to investigate.
