This week hasn't been easy.  So my imagination and some dreams were not helping.......what with Larry being away over the weekend and in a place where there was no cell service.

He's home safe.......Thank god.......I'm not going to even go where my fears were.

The furry one is going into the shower and we are off to bed......

Tomorrow is another day.  q18

Ah I am pleased you have opened your own.  All safe now, hold him tight, all will soothe and I shall send some to you all as well.  No fear, dear one.

And sleep was exactly what happened!  We both ended up crashing!  q5

Got up this morning and checked my e-mail.  Lynn Siebrandt from "Your Spiritual Journey.com" had written to say that I was now the moderator for the Animal Communication Group............Went in and sure enough, I had all sorts of new "buttons" on there!

Yikes.  Have never been a mod.  Now I need to learn what all of this means!

Right now there aren't very many members to the overall site in general, but I have a feeling it could easily mushroom!

Sage, is there a subject that YOU could moderate?  I saw that a moderator could work off their own website.

haha  being a mod is easy really.  You just keep a look out for troubles other wise it should run itself.  I am still trying to get round that place..set up a bit different and a bit challenging but we'll see, tis only a baby for now.  I sent her the Path link, maybe she'll join us as well.  Have fun!

BTW can't think of a finer person to lead em Hun!

Today I am by myself............

Jessica (Bri's uterine receptical) and her family had invited Brianna to join them in Salem (150 miles west) to the "Enchanted Forest"........an entertainment park........So Larry and she are driving over for the day and joining them.  Bri says she wants to spend some fun time with her biological half siblings.  Is this complicated or what?!

I CHOSE to stay HOME.  Larry was not happy with my decision, but he accepted it.

My heart still hurts.  And Jessica and her mother still have negative energy. No, I am no longer angry.  But after spending last night soul-searching, I realized I would have a horrid day.......and that would probably make Larry's and Brianna's day uncomfortable too.  So, why do it?

Right now, Brianna feels it's important to know where she comes from, so she really needs to be connected with her biological family.  She would love to find out more about the bio-paternal side, but we've lost touch with them..........at least the one boy's family who we believe IS her bio-father. Sadly, Travis was killed in a drag racing incident before Bri was born. (There were several possible sperm doners that month, but Travis is the most likely.)

It would be so much easier if we could cut ties with everyone completely, but that's being unrealistic............For one thing, Brianna has a bio-aunt that is AWESOME.  She and her family are the one branch that are psychologically healthy and even if there wasn't the adoption connection, I would enjoy being with and encourage Brianna to be friends with the daughters......who are a couple of years older...........Somehow Kim & Shane are managing to stay in a crazy family AND keep them at arms length....... Would love to know how they are doing that! LOL.

Oh my friend, I think you all made the right decision.  I know you walk about the house and yard talking to yourself and justifying it all.  Bri is right, she needs the contact to maintain her reality.  She is smart enuff to know Jessica is not her mother, you are.  Do something lovely just for you today.  I am still in my pjs baking cookies for just me and listening to an old movie and the dogs play.  It's cold out, the fire is going and I am content..for now.   I send my love to you, I know how hard it has been for you, how hard it is for you, and how hard times will yet be but your family loves you..all of them.

I sure hope you spent some time on yourself today......it sure does improve the mood when you can pamper yourself or just do something you want to do undisturbed and on your own schedule.....

LAST weekend, Sunday, Nov. 15th, Brianna, her friend Katlin, and I had a "girls' day".  (Katlin lives close by and comes over almost every weekend because she has no homelife.  She just turned 15 on Wednesday...Calls Larry and me - "Dad and Mom".)

We drove to Bend....It's our closest "BIG" town with over 50,000 people, about 30 miles from us.  First stop:  Barnes and Noble.  Second: Lunch at a great Chinese Buffet.  Third: Petco - where I ended up getting a male and female Betta fish with all the accessories for the girls.  Both fish are living HERE because Katlin was afraid to take HER fish home......(sigh).

At Barnes and Noble I bought two books.......One was purely for entertainment and I highly recommend it. (I've already finished it - it was a fast read!)   "The Book of Illumination" by Mary Ann Winkowski and Maureen Foley.  The first author happens to be a consultant for the TV show, "Ghost Whisperer".......

The second book I bought was for MY LIBRARY.  It is BEAUTIFUL and BIG.   It's called "The Complete Illustrated Encyclopedia of MAGICAL PLANTS" by Susan Gregg.  Along with a color picture of each plant/flower/herb/tree....It describes general information of each, the Magical uses, and the Holistic Medicinal uses.
