After what I have been thru this past week (hell month) while looking for a piece of jewelry I found this instead. Thank you Hermie. I had printed this off quite a while ago when I hit a hard time then...
The world is real to us
Its the place that helps support us
While you cannot change everything
You can change yourself
Do not fight the world
Bend with the breeze like a willow
Flow with life like water
But be at peace with yourself
And our world
Fighting is not the way
But a gentle flow with the breeze
Lets the ebb and flow of life pass us by
We adjust this flow just by letting it pass us by
Just by putting up your hand you can cause turbulence
Use the power of your mind
It is so much more powerful
the hermit
Thanks you Hermie, after the post with the hawk and the squirrel...this fit right in so lovely. Love you. I think many of us needed this just now. No coincidence I found it just now on the shelf..oh and with the piece of jewelry I was seeking as well.

Ha I had a great day playing now I am trying to concentrate on schooling but its just not going so well......distracted, tired, unfocused...lol....still haven't filled any of my hunting tags but it sure isn't for a lack of trying.....tomorrow will be a day of serious studying and hitting the gym hard.....then back to the woods to try and fill that tag again on thursday morning I think I will even have the weather in my favor...so going with the flow seems to work...

Ah but Hermie, dear Nigel, your words reminded me that I am the willow bending with the wind, fed by sunlight, air, wind and Earth. XXX

Women can be many things
Men struggle greatly trying to change
They stand tall and proud
They are the proctors
Everything falls back to them
The providers & decision makers
Yet only when the learn to bend
Do they become at one with the earth
At one with the world around them
Maybe even at one within themselves
It’s a difficult path to follow
When a man has to change
Maybe even odds within himself
Against the natural order of things
How can we be all things?
Balance was when Women were Women
And Men were Men
Now both sexes are trying to be both
Women seen to have that strength
And yet deep inside is that Mother
Men have that unbending strength
A stubbornness that can annoy
And yet he is expected to change
When the old club is still close to hand

OH Hermie I like that one especially the 3rd stanza....
I may do things that some might consider "man things" like the hunting and shooting...but I am all woman I have no desire to be both. I am embracing the fact that I am a female instead of fighting it like I did for some time.

Ah more good thots in words to chew.
I embrace being fem, I want any man of mine to be man but with a bit of sensitivity.
Over years this willow has had to learn to do many man things but looks to her man cub...and sees a young man, club in one hand, and another hand out to others....he is like his mother...sensitive to the point of pain, but willing to help any in need. Strong and bold and unbending at times, yet will shed a tear at any given moment.
Humans should just be, why change the core of the male and the fem? Love, tenderness, respect, humility, courtesy and honor are all it takes to be a good human.
