My name is Heather, I live in central TX with my hubby, 2.2 horses a heeler and a cat named Bubba.  I 'met' Debs on the miniature horse list, got into her penny ponies and havent stopped yet LOL  I also do stained glass and lapidary << got into that because we have tons of petrified wood here and hubby wanted me to start slabbing some!   Anyhow, thats just about all there is about me!  Cant wait to start reading and learning of everyone.

In the middle of nowhere without spare parts
Except what I take with me

If it is small enough ( my cutter will cut up to 6"s) I will slab it, cut it into about 1/2" thick slabs, then display them. I am looking to get a grinder/polisher so I can make cabochons etc out of it.  My PetWood is calcedony/chert based, with some calcite/quartz. Its not the beautifull agatized stuff like up on Oregon.  I only WISH is was LOL    The bigger stuff I used to line my flower gardens.

Another one missed sorry!  Welcome to you too Heather.  Silly question but what is a penny pony?  I wish my ponies were a penny, I'd be a rich lady by now, lol. Instead they are gaping money suckers but I love the stinkers.

Ha ha Shirley...ain't been on my website in a bit eh?  Forgiven  q13   Penny ponies are tiny drilled horse beads.

http://www.chrystalpaths.com/pennyponyzunibeads.htm

They are really wee zuni type beads but they are about the size of a penny thus the name.
