This was such a weird sensation, I'm not even sure what category to put it under.

Today, I was watching TV. There was an old lady watching TV on my TV. I suddenly pictured myself being the old lady watching TV on someone else's TV. Then that old lady being watched by another old lady watching TV etc etc etc. Kind of actually made me dizzy!

It was really quite disturbing. What would you call this sensation? Crazy?

This was a show on a satillite channel called Link TV. They call themselves "television without borders." It was a program from Greece called "The Box" about one-way communication between the aged and the media. (television).

There was no dialogue, per se, just this old woman watching TV & talking back to it when it talked. Said something about her loneliness & isolation for sure. I am a recluse and isolate myself whenever possible. But I'm never lonely. Very strange show. Hope it's not fortelling my future! .

I would find that scene soothing and reassuring. Being a hermit myself I like the image you paint and it feels like an astral projection thing. Not my forte'. Hopefully someone more knowlegable will step up. Are you sure it protrayed her lonliness or just her being alone and dealing with it in her own way? I talk to the computer, the TV, the stereo, the radio in the barn, the horses, dogs, birds. I spoke with a hawk this morning....

debs - you know part of the reason I'm never lonely is that I have so many animals to talk with. But I haven't yet talked to the tv unless some politician is on there who needs yelled at. But maybe you have a point about the way I may be handling things. Yeah,the futher away from the general public I am, the better for them & ME! Again, tho, this was very weird & the only time such a thing has happened to me. I guess "unsettling" is the word I'm looking for.

Perhaps it was looking at things from a different perception?

(I've done that while in the "alpha state".)
