Lighting the Path Less Taken

Sage has posted that the the Hawks are the Daytime messengers and the Owls are the nighttime ones.......This stuck in my brain this week.....

I have three and sometimes four Redtailed Hawks who stand vigil along the route I take into town up on the telephone poles. Occasionally one likes to fly and dip across my path as I get close.

And then we still have one Great Horned Owl roosting in our back yard Willow Tree. I think the parents have cut the cord and we have the young one.

I'm saving all the feathers. But what should I do with them?

I will send you some rawhide to bind them then you can use them as a fan for smudging OR simply keep them as a bouquet..I do both in honor and love. How lucky you are...
