This never happened before in my life:

I was asleep (alone) when I heard a woman say into my ear "Yes." Plain as day. It didn't yell or whisper. It wasn't overly emphatic or flat. It was, it seemed, a "yes" that someone would answer when you asked something like "did you lock the door?" or "would you like more chips?" But it was clear enough to wake me bolt upright and wonder who said it. Was kind of scarey since I was instantly awake.

Later the same night, I was having a mundane dream when suddenly I heard someone call my brother, Bill. All it said was "Bill?" as if they had just entered a house & wondered if he was home. Same wake up fast.

Both very plain, run-of-the-mill words and manners. But What The HECK??? I've never heard voices before. What's this about? Ideas???

You were NOT dreaming.

You were hearing voices from the "other side of the veil", in my opinion.

I'm not sure how or why it happens but it's happened to me as well. And sometimes all you get is PART of a conversation. It's almost like you stumble in and accidentally eavesdrop.

The veil is very thin now TT for some reason, I am hearing things everywhere at all times. I was awakened with a message at 4am and ignored her but she was persisitant until I got up and sent the message, then I slept til 8! Lots oof new things opening up the souls of those who can hear..for many life is too loud, you are listening, you hear.... q22

Altho the word "yes" woke me right up, it took me a few minutes to convince myself that I was, indeed, alone. Freaked me out. Very strange. And the call for "Bill," it was as tho someone had just entered the room, the room I was in in my dream, that is. Gees. I knew it wasn't anything to be afraid of, but freaked me out nonetheless. Both were different than anything I've ever experienced.

Tell me TT, how did Ursa feel about it?

I know, that's how I reacted at first too........and when I "freaked" I shut down.

I think it's most likely when we are in that inbetween state, what some call the "Alpha" state.

Now, I just lay quietly and try to just let it happen.........

I'm not aware that Miss Ursa sensed anything. I was totally within myself, being totally amazed.

I don't know that I moved at all, but when I do at night, she's right there with her head up & eyes open, looking, watching, guarding. But not that night. She sleeps at the foot of the bed. Well, as much as 85 pounds of dog can be at the foot of the bed.

And BB -- Do you get actual messages? Things that mean anything? I only got the two words. They were a total surprise and nothing I could encourage or stop, I believe, since they just happened, like if you trip over your own feet.

Dare I? I must be certain, IMHO, that I WANT to open that window. As I've told Sage before, I have no blackness. I need to be pretty certain that I'm not cracking the door for it to enter. I have none & I want none.

Only when and if you wish TT, to open that door is a large commitment. Your life is even now and perhaps it is better left to a time you feel more ready. Many things flying round at present for you..one more may not be needed now. Sage

TT, No I have never received complete messages either through that avenue. Sometimes things come in other ways when I'm in meditation mode. It's like I've "channeled" something to someone and I rarely remember what I've written or said........But the recipient tells me........I've been told the same thing that Sage says. To ask who they are....etc.....and I haven't brought myself to doing that yet.
