Lighting the Path Less Taken

Two nights (actually early mornings) ago I had an interesting dream....

It was cold outside, colder than it is today. Our Christmas Cactus was flowering and somehow a hummingbird gets into the livingroom to check it out. In the dream I walk into the room and find the little thing buzzing around the plants in that room....... I am so worried about what we're going to do about it that I jolt awake!

In a half awake (alpha?) state I laid in bed trying to think about how we would take care of the little hummer and that we needed to somehow transport it down to California -- a warmer climate.......I slipped back to sleep and back into the dream. Larry and built a 3-sided box with lightbulb in it and hung a feeder next to it. I remember how neat it was when it sat on my finger for a moment...

We were making plans with a local wildlife specialist to go down to Southern California with the little thing and then the dream sort of melted off into another dream, but for some reason I am still remembering it.

For what its worth as I read this the phone rang and I went outside to chat with my friend, the sun is shining here and low and behold one of my hummers buzzed me on the deck.

Hummers signify joy and fun......maybe it was trying to tell you to go have some fun

Yes hummingbirds are joy and love, what a beautiful dream.

The Hummingbird is one of my Bird Totems and I think she came into my dream for a reason.....

Sage, You know I've been fighting a depression........perhaps this was a part of that?
