Detention for Farting??? Of course not! Girls do NOT fart, they FLUFF.
Previously, it was based on homework violations.....After three pink slips over not turning work in, the student gets detention. She's had three detentions.......and we've grounded her as well......partly because she also LIES to us about her work.
THIS time it was about passing notes in class (not her first episode) AND her attitude. When the teacher asked for to hand over the note, Brianna tossed it on the teacher's desk, and did the "eye rolling" thing! (Stupid girl).
At home it's a constant back talk or argument....I swear. After awhile, grounding her stops meaning much.
We actually had an interesting discussion with her teacher who gave the detention because it included talking about the lying.

Find that one thing she covets, it may seem awfully cruel to remove it from her or her from it but it may work....as well as who she is hanging out with. The threat of homeschooling may work as well. There are so many regulations in some states she'd have to toe the line...maybe? Lots of love and support to you dear freind

The home school threat wouldn't work with her......... There are times when she tells us she WANTS it.......usually first thing on Monday mornings. haha.
Taking away the computer is a biggie, and that's one of the items that's done when she's grounded.
